Job summary

Wipro Limited in Bengaluru, Karnataka seeks a trained Scrum Master (L1) on a contract basis to facilitate a Scrum team, remove impediments, and ensure agile practices are followed to achieve sprint goals.

You will protect the team, coordinate with Product Owner, participate in all Scrum ceremonies, maintain backlog clarity, and track metrics using ALM tools, delivering reliable, high-quality increments.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Planning, Daily Standup, Grooming, Demo, retrospection) and ensure correct adoption.

• Track key Scrum metrics and update ALM tools daily; foster team collaboration across self-managed teams.
• Provide feedback to the Agile Line Manager and participate in Scrum of Scrums.

Role PurposeAs a trained Scrum Master, you are responsible for facilitating a Scrum team and are accountable for removing impediments of the team to achieve the sprint goals/deliverables. You are responsible to ensure that the Scrum process is used as intended. • Review monthly and ensure improvement in competency score. Ensure multiskilling for at least 50% of the team.Help team attain stable velocity within 6-8 sprints (allowing for 10% variation either way)Train team on the proper adoption of Agile processes (Scrum / XP / Kanban)Help in adoption of engineering practices like ATDD, TDD, CI, CD, RefactoringRecord and own the restrospection actionsParticipate in community of practice initiativesProvide inputs to the Line manager for internal quality forums (QIC / APR / QBR / MBR etc.).
