CME Group in Bengaluru, India is seeking a Scrum Master to guide cross-functional product teams in agile practices, removing impediments, and promoting continuous learning and value delivery. You will partner with Product Owners to align backlogs, facilitate Scrum/PI ceremonies, monitor progress, and foster a lean-agile culture while safeguarding Scrum principles.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in Agile software development, strong coaching skills, and a proven ability to lead teams

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in project teams with at least 3 years coaching Agile software development.
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum, SAFe, and agile engineering practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates Scrum/PI ceremonies and removes impediments.
  • Coaches team members and fosters a lean-agile mindset.

Job Overview

Description: As part of our Google Cloud Transformation, we have started to adopt a product operating model to bring the business and technology closer together, enabling us to work in a more agile and collaborative way. At a high level, we are forming cross-functional product teams that bring together individuals with complementary skill sets to own all aspects of these products from vision, roadmaps, design, development, testing and operation, helping to drive greater alignment and shared ownership in the process. The Scrum Master is a Pod (Product oriented design) member responsible for guiding the team in Agile best practices, helping to remove impediments, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement, continuous flow of value, and consistent quality.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Collaborates with the Product Owner to coordinate product delivery and ensures the sprint goals are clear and accepted by the delivery team
  • Facilitates Scrum/PI ceremonies focusing on impediment removal
  • Facilitates feedback on solution and backlog improvement
  • Assists Product Owner with review of team backlog and prepares for upcoming sprints
  • Monitors progress, issues and risks
  • Tracks and socializes delivery metrics
  • Helps align the team on PI plan and objectives and identifies risks and issues

  • At least 8 years related experience as a project team member and a minimum of 3 years' experience in Agile software development including coaching on agile methodologies, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Experience with successful Agile techniques
