Job summary

Quest Global is seeking an experienced Scrum Master in India to coach multiple Scrum teams, facilitate ceremonies, and remove impediments to delivery. You will collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to keep the backlog well-defined and prioritized, while tracking metrics to improve velocity and predictability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of IT experience with at least 2–5 years as a Scrum Master.
  • Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile, Kanban, and Lean principles.
  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies for multiple Scrum teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar.
  • Knowledge of Agile metrics and reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
  • Coach and mentor Scrum teams on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and best practices.
  • Remove impediments and proactively resolve issues impacting team delivery.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure the product backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and ready for upcoming sprints.
  • Track sprint progress using Agile metrics such as Velocity, Burndown Charts, Cycle Time, and Sprint Predictability.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team effectiveness and delivery quality.
  • Foster a collaborative, self-organizing, and high-performing team environment.
  • Coordinate cross-functional dependencies and manage risks affecting sprint and release commitments.
  • Ensure transparency of project status through dashboards and regular stakeholder communication.
  • Support release planning, PI Planning (if working in SAFe), and roadmap execution.
  • Promote Agile maturity across teams and coach stakeholders on Agile ways of working.
  • Work closely with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, Architects, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery.

Work Experience
