Job summary

All About ADS is seeking a content writer with 2–5 years of experience to craft Bengali and English scripts, captions, press notes, and promotional copy for events, social media, and video content. You will ensure accuracy, appropriate tone, and formal communication standards while localizing content beyond literal translation.

The role requires strong research, proficiency in Bengali and English, and the ability to deliver publish-ready copy under tight deadlines, including weekend or holiday

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Literature, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in content writing, journalism, scriptwriting, or PR/communications.
• Excellent written command of Bengali and English (writing samples/portfolio required).

Responsibilities

• Write scripts for promotional videos, event anchoring notes, and voiceover narration.
• Draft social media copy/captions, press release content, brochure text, e-invite copy and campaign taglines.
• Write bilingual content (Bengali and English; Hindi is an advantage) with localization.
• Research client initiatives to ensure factual accuracy; avoid inaccuracies at this level.
• Maintain appropriate tone and protocol for formal/official communication; align with brand voice.
• Proofread and edit all outgoing text for grammar, spelling, and consistency.
• Use AI writing tools to speed up drafts while ensuring fact-checking and human review.
• Coordinate with designers/editors to align messaging across formats.
• Turn around content on short notice for events and announcements.
• Maintain a content calendar/tracker for planned promotions.

Role Summary:

Responsible for writing scripts, captions, press notes, and copies in both Bengali and English for events, video content, and social media promotions, ensuring factual accuracy, appropriate tone and adherence to formal communication standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Write scripts for promotional videos, event anchoring/emcee notes, and voiceover narration
• Draft social media copy/captions, press release content, brochure text, e-invite copy and campaign taglines for client events
• Write bilingual content (Bengali and English; Hindi is an advantage), ensuring genuine localization rather than literal translation
• Research client initiatives, products, or programs carefully to ensure factual correctness; inaccurate content is not acceptable at this level
• Maintain the appropriate tone and protocol for formal/official communication: professional, respectful and consistent with each client's brand voice
• Proofread and edit all outgoing text (own and others') for grammar, spelling (especially names, designations, and place names) and consistency
• Use AI writing tools to speed up first drafts, research and translation, while ensuring every final output is fact-checked and human-reviewed for accuracy
• Coordinate closely with graphic designers and video editors to keep messaging aligned across formats
• Turn around content at short notice for urgent announcements, press notes, translations or last-minute event changes
• Maintain a content calendar/tracker for planned promotions and campaigns

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Literature, or a related field
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in content writing, journalism, scriptwriting, or PR/communications
• Excellent written command of Bengali and English (writing samples/portfolio required)

Mandatory Conditions of Engagement:

• Must be available for work beyond scheduled office hours, including weekends and holidays, whenever required, since announcements and event scripts often come with very short notice
• Must be able to consistently deliver accurate, polished, publish-ready copy within very constrained timelines, including same-day turnarounds tied to events and press requirements
• Basic SEO/social copywriting knowledge
