Job summary

Anora Semiconductor Labs is seeking an SCM Head to lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including strategic sourcing, procurement, and vendor development. You will manage a team of ~25 professionals, overseeing planning, inventory, and logistics to ensure on-time material availability.

The role requires 15+ years in SCM with strong global supplier networks and experience across engineering, automation, or electronics sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Production/Industrial preferred).
• MBA/PGDM in Operations or Supply Chain Management preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, and Strategic Sourcing.
• Minimum 5+ years in a leadership role managing large sourcing and procurement functions.
• Experience managing sourcing of 2,000+ components.
• Strong exposure to Global Supplier Networks.
• Experience in Engineering, Industrial Equipment, Automation, Electronics Manufacturing, Automotive, or Capital Equipment industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with organizational growth objectives.
• Lead end-to-end supply chain operations covering sourcing, procurement, planning, inventory, logistics, and supplier management.
• Optimize supply chain costs while ensuring on-time availability of materials.
• Lead sourcing activities for 2,000+ components and manufactured parts.
• Identify, evaluate, develop, and onboard new suppliers globally.
• Build alternate source strategies to minimize supply risks.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and service agreements.
• Ensure timely purchase order execution and supplier performance monitoring.
• Strong understanding of VMC and Sheet Metal materials for technical sourcing.
• Lead and develop a team of approximately 25 supply chain professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Strategy

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with organizational growth objectives.
• Lead end-to-end supply chain operations covering sourcing, procurement, planning, inventory, logistics, and supplier management.
• Optimize supply chain costs while ensuring on-time availability of materials.

Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Development

• Lead sourcing activities for 2,000+ components and manufactured parts.
• Identify, evaluate, develop, and onboard new suppliers globally.
• Build alternate source strategies to minimize supply risks.
• Conduct supplier audits and capability assessments.
• Drive localization and global sourcing initiatives.

Procurement Management

• Manage procurement of production materials from approved/fixed vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and service agreements.
• Ensure timely purchase order execution and supplier performance monitoring.
• Monitor supplier delivery commitments and quality performance.

Manufacturing Component Sourcing

• Strong understanding of:
• VMC
• Sheet Metal
• Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams for technical sourcing requirements.

Team Leadership

• Lead and develop a team of approximately 25 supply chain professionals covering sourcing, procurement, planning, and vendor management.
• Establish performance metrics and succession plans.
• Mentor and build high-performing teams.

Cost Optimization

• Drive annual cost-saving initiatives through:
• Value Engineering
• Alternate Material Sourcing
• Supplier Consolidation
• Global Procurement Strategies
• Long-term Contract Negotiations

Desired Candidate Profile
