Job summary

Indypay Technologies seeks an experienced Project Scheduler / PMO Specialist for a 12-month metals & mining capital project. The role will anchor planning, scheduling, and controls on-site, coordinating across multiple contractors to ensure schedule integrity and timely execution.

The incumbent will drive progress monitoring, interface management, and on-site reporting in a brownfield environment, with strict adherence to project milestones and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in project planning, scheduling and controls.
• Proficient with Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Brownfield construction planning and shutdown/turnaround experience.
• Experience with EPC/D&B contractors on multi-package projects.
• On-site PMO deployment and progress tracking expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop, baseline, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Plan brownfield construction sequencing, logistics, and material storage.
• Track progress, schedule variances, and report to stakeholders.
• Coordinate across EPC/D&B contractors to resolve interfaces and minimize downtime.
• Verify on-site progress and produce daily/weekly/monthly status reports.

Job Title: Project Scheduler / PMO Specialist (Metals & Mining)

Employment Type: 12-Month Contract

Location: Project Site (On-site deployment required)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler / PMO Specialist on a 12-month contractual basis to oversee project planning, scheduling, and project controls for a large-scale Metals & Mining capital project. The successful candidate will drive progress monitoring, schedule integrity, and interface management directly on-site, ensuring seamless execution within a complex, brownfield manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule Management & Planning: Develop, baseline, and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Brownfield Integration: Plan and execute construction sequencing, logistics, labor mobilization, and yard/material storage strategies within an active, operational plant environment.
• Project Controls & PMO Deployment: Track, monitor, and report project progress, critical path activities, schedule variances, and potential risks to key stakeholders.
• Interface & Contractor Coordination: Coordinate across multiple contract packages, EPC / Design & Build (D&B) contractors, and technical disciplines to resolve interface issues and avoid operational downtime.
• Site Execution & Reporting: Conduct on-site physical progress verification, compile daily/weekly/monthly status reports, and implement corrective action plans as needed.

Required Qualifications & Key Experience

• 10+ years of experience in project planning, scheduling, and project controls, preferably within Metals & Mining capital projects.
• Software Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Brownfield Expertise: Demonstrated background in brownfield construction planning, including brownfield logistics, shutdown/turnaround planning, and material storage management in operating facilities.
• Contractor Management: Proven experience working alongside or managing EPC / Design & Build (D&B) contractors on multi-package capital projects.
• On-Site Controls: Strong background in establishing and executing on-site PMO deployment, progress measurement systems, and productivity tracking.

Site Mobility

Full willingness to be deployed on-site for the entire duration of the 12-month engagement.
