Job summary

Capgemini in Bengaluru seeks an experienced SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) Functional Consultant with 6–12 years of IT/SAP experience, including 4+ years in SAP TM. You will design, configure, and support SAP TM solutions, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive end-to-end SAP TM implementations across logistics domains.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with knowledge of S/4HANA Embedded TM and integration with EWM, SD, MM, and GTS.

Qualifications

• 6–12 years of IT/SAP experience with at least 4+ years in SAP TM.
• Strong knowledge of SAP TM functional configuration and business processes.
• Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP TM implementation project.
• Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Embedded TM preferred.
• Knowledge of integration with EWM, SD, MM, and GTS is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to transportation and logistics processes.
• Design, configure, and support SAP TM solutions including Transportation Planning & Optimization, Carrier Selection & Tendering, and Charge Management.
• Configure SAP TM master data, planning profiles, freight units, freight orders, and settlement processes.
• Work with stakeholders and technical teams during implementation and support activities.
• Perform system testing, defect resolution, and user training; support integrations with S/4HANA, EWM, MM, SD, and external carriers.
• Prepare functional specs and coordinate with development teams for RICEFW objects; provide production support.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SAP TM implementations, support, and enhancements, with a solid understanding of transportation planning, execution, freight management, and logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to transportation and logistics processes.
• Design, configure, and support SAP TM solutions including:
• Transportation Planning & Optimization
• Carrier Selection & Tendering
• Charge Management
• Transportation Execution
• Configure SAP TM master data, planning profiles, freight units, freight orders, and settlement processes.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and technical teams during implementation and support activities.
• Perform system testing, defect resolution, and user training.
• Support integration with SAP S/4HANA, EWM, MM, SD, and external carrier systems.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with development teams for RICEFW objects.
• Provide production support and participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.
