Overview

Job Description: SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation and support of SAP TM solutions
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP TM functional designs
• Configure SAP TM modules including: Freight Order Management Transportation Planning & Execution Carrier Selection and Freight Tendering Charge Calculation and Freight Settlement
• Integrate SAP TM with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, EWM, SD, MM, and third-party systems
• Handle TM master data setup (locations, transportation lanes, resources, charges, etc.)
• Support system testing (unit, integration, UAT) and resolve defects
• Provide production support and troubleshoot TM-related issues
• Prepare functional specifications and work closely with technical teams
• Mentor junior consultants and provide functional guidance
• Ensure compliance with business and industry best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in SAP Transportation Management (TM)
• Strong knowledge of SAP TM configuration and functionality
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA TM or embedded TM is highly preferred
• Hands-on experience in TM integration with SD, MM, EWM
• Good understanding of logistics, transportation, and supply chain processes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience working in onsite or hybrid environments
• Ability to interact effectively with clients and business users

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP TM Certification
• Experience in global logistics or multi-country transportation scenarios
• Exposure to SAP GTT or event management is a plus
