Job summary

Talent Basket is seeking an experienced SAP TM consultant to lead implementation and configuration for complex transportation management projects in Pune, India.

The role involves conducting workshops, designing end-to-end processes, and integrating SAP TM with SAP S/4HANA, Embedded EWM, SD, MM, and external logistics systems. Strong stakeholder and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of SAP consulting experience.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on SAP TM implementation or support experience.
• At least one end‑to‑end SAP TM implementation integrated with SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong knowledge of transportation planning, freight management, and logistics execution.
• Experience integrating SAP TM with SAP S/4HANA, Embedded EWM, SD, MM, and external logistics systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related discipline.
• SAP TM Certification preferred; SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain Certification is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, stakeholder management, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP TM solutions.

• Configure Freight Order Management, Transportation Planning & Execution, Carrier Selection & Freight Settlement, Charge Management, and Route Optimization.
• Support inbound and outbound logistics processes for equipment and spare parts.
• Integrate SAP TM with SAP S/4HANA, Embedded EWM, SD, MM, and third-party logistics providers.
• Configure transportation planning, shipment tracking, route optimization, and freight cost management.
• Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams for developments.
• Support data migration, SIT, UAT, Cutover, Go-Live, and Hypercare activities.
• Deliver end-user training, knowledge transfer sessions, and post-implementation support.

Job description

Requirements & Qualifications

• 6–10 years of SAP consulting experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on SAP TM implementation or support experience.
• At least one end‑to‑end SAP TM implementation integrated with SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong knowledge of transportation planning, freight management, and logistics execution.
• Experience integrating SAP TM with SAP S/4HANA, Embedded EWM, SD, MM, and external logistics systems.
• Proficiency in SAP TM modules: Freight Order Management, Transportation Planning & Execution, Carrier Selection & Freight Settlement, Charge Management, and Route Optimization.
• Good understanding of SAP Embedded EWM, SAP Integration Suite/CPI, SAP Fiori, APIs, IDocs, Web Services, and SAP Activate Methodology.
• Industry experience in Power Generation Equipment, Industrial Equipment, Heavy Equipment, Manufacturing, Engineering Services, Distribution & Logistics, Spare Parts Management, or Equipment Sales & After‑Sales Service is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related discipline.
• SAP TM Certification preferred; SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain Certification is an added advantage.
