Job summary

IFF in Chennai, India, seeks an experienced SAP Transportation Management specialist to drive end-to-end logistics solutions. You will work with global teams to implement SAP TM for freight planning, costing, and integration with SAP ECC, delivering projects with SAP Activate.

Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills are required to collaborate across functions and achieve business goals. The role is based in Chennai with on-site work expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or any related discipline.
• Minimum 4–6 years of hands-on SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP Transportation Management (TM) and logistics execution processes.
• Hands-on experience in transportation planning, freight order management, carrier management, freight costing, freight settlement, and SAP TM integration with SAP S/4HANA/EWM.
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end SAP TM implementations, enhancements, and support projects using SAP best practices and SAP Activate methodology.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and leadership skills with experience working in global and cross-functional project environments.

Responsibilities

• Support SAP TM Lead/Domain Expert in end-to-end inbound and outbound flow of goods in SAP TM and integration with SAP ECC including Freight Audit and Pay, Master Data and Reporting.
• Deliver end-to-end projects and services in the area and for meeting business SLAs.
• Establish relationships with business stakeholders, super users and partners.
• Configure SAP TM including customizing settings and Master data; build functional specs, run unit tests and support SIT/UAT.
• Translate functional designs into configuration, enhancements and extensions; collaborate with developers and integration work.

Where You’ll Make a Difference

• Support SAP TMS Lead/Domain Expert in the end-to-end inbound and outbound flow of goods process in SAP TMS and the process integration between SAP TMS and SAP ECC including Freight Audit and Pay, Master Data and Reporting and the supporting IT landscape.


• Deliver end-to-end projects and services provided in the area and for fulfilling the business SLAs.


• Establish relationship with business stakeholders, super users and partners.


• Configuration of SAP TMS including customizing settings, Master data. Build Functional specifications, execute Unit tests and supports SIT/UAT.


• Translate functional designs into configuration, enhancements and extensions.


• Collaborate with developers, configuration analysts and integration work and enforces standards.


• Bridge Finance and SAP TM for freight settlement, accruals and integration to SAP ECC FI/CO. Design Charge calculations, Settlement flows and tax/Compliance requirements.


• Validate posting logic and drive testing with finance. Ensure alignment with controlling structure and financial closing timelines.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or any other related discipline.


• Minimum 4–6 yearsof hands-on SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP Transportation Management (TM) and logistics execution processes.
