Job summary

Tekskills is seeking a hands-on SAP Transportation Management consultant to lead end-to-end TM implementations in a client-facing role. The role involves blueprinting, design, and configuration of SAP TM components, and ensuring integrations with S/4HANA modules (SD, EWM, FI) run smoothly.

The candidate should have strong experience in SAP TM, with preference for S/4HANA Embedded TM, and proven ability to gather requirements, define pricing/settlement processes, and coordinate across technical

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in end-to-end SAP Transportation Management implementations.
• Conduct business blueprint workshops to gather transportation and logistics requirements.
• Design and configure SAP TM components (Network, Master Data, Freight Order Management, Planning & Optimization).
• Configure integration between SAP TM and SAP S/4HANA (SD, EWM, MM, FI).
• Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements.
• Coordinate with ABAP teams for interfaces, reports, and enhancements.
• Support testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) and cutover activities.
• Provide end-user training and knowledge transfer.
• Support go-live and hypercare phases.

Role & responsibilities

Lead and participate in end-to-end SAP Transportation Management (TM) implementations

• Conduct business blueprint workshops to gather transportation and logistics requirements
• Design and configure SAP TM components including:
  • Transportation Network & Master Data
  • Freight Order Management
  • Transportation Planning & Optimization
  • Carrier Selection, Tendering & Tracking
  • Charge Calculation, Freight Settlement & Dispute Management
• Configure integration between SAP TM and SAP S/4HANA (SD, EWM, MM, FI)
• Define and configure pricing procedures, charge types, and settlement documents
• Support data migration (locations, lanes, business partners, rates)
• Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements
• Coordinate with technical/ABAP teams for interfaces, reports, and enhancements
• Execute and support Unit Testing, Integration Testing, UAT, and cutover activities
• Support go-live and hypercare phases
• Provide end-user training and knowledge transfer
• Ensure best practices, clean core, and performance optimization
