Job summary

Neev is seeking a mid-senior SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant with 3+ years of hands-on experience to design, configure, and implement SAP TM solutions. The role involves requirement gathering, FS writing, and ensuring seamless integration with S/4HANA modules.

You will lead data mapping, develop specifications, and train users while optimizing transportation planning and carrier selection. This is a full-time opportunity in Bengaluru, India.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on SAP TM implementation, rollout, and support.
• Strong functional understanding of core S/4HANA areas: OTC, P2P, R2R, Manufacturing.
• Proven experience writing Functional Specifications (FS) for custom development objects (RICEFW).
• Advanced MS Excel skills for data modeling, mapping, and project reporting.
• Experience in system configuration, freight order management, transportation planning, carrier selection, and freight settlement.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, customize, and deploy SAP TM functionalities to optimize end-to-end transportation planning, freight order management, execution, and carrier selection.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, write FS, and recommend best practices.
• Determine and define data requirements with Excel-based data modeling, mapping, and validation.
• Configure integrations between SAP TM and S/4HANA core modules and third-party systems.
• Conduct workshops and training for key users and project delivery teams.
• Provide ongoing SAP TM support and maintenance.
• Stay updated with SAP S/4HANA and TM innovations to drive improvements.

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in configuring, customizing, and implementing SAP TM solutions, along with working knowledge across related S/4HANA functional domains. You will play a pivotal role in designing solution architectures, writing functional specifications, determining data requirements, and providing ongoing optimization and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Module Configuration & Implementation: Design, configure, customize, and deploy SAP TM functionalities to optimize end-to-end transportation planning, freight order management, execution, and carrier selection.
• Requirements Gathering & Functional Design: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand complex business processes, gather requirements, write detailed Functional Specifications (FS), and recommend industry best practices.
• Data Management: Determine and define data requirements directly from process/solution documentation, leveraging high proficiency in MS Excel for data mapping, analysis, and validation.
• System Integration: Configure and manage integrations between SAP TM and other S/4HANA core modules (e.g., OTC, P2P, R2R, Manufacturing) as well as third-party systems.
• Training & User Enablement: Conduct workshops, training sessions, and structured knowledge transfer for business key users, end-users, and project delivery teams.
• Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing application support, complex troubleshooting, system enhancements, and maintenance for SAP TM landscapes.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest SAP S/4HANA and TM innovations to propose continuous process improvements and feature adoption.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Core Functional Expertise
  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Transportation Management (TM) implementation, rollout, and support.
  • Good functional understanding of one or more core S/4HANA functional areas:
    • OTC (Order to Cash)
    • P2P (Procure to Pay)
    • R2R (Record to Report)
    • Manufacturing / Digital Supply Chain
  • In-depth knowledge of S/4HANA data objects within the candidate's core functional areas.
  • Technical & Process Capabilities
  • Proven experience in writing comprehensive Functional Specifications (FS) for custom development objects (RICEFW).
  • Ability to interpret solution/process documentation to identify and extract data requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for data modeling, mapping, and project reporting.
  • Experience in system configuration, freight order management, transportation planning, carrier selection, and freight settlement.
