HSBC Software Development India is seeking an experienced Consultant Specialist to lead HR technology delivery, focusing on SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management and Reward modules. You will translate business needs into system requirements, collaborate with global teams, and drive a backlog aligned to employee experience.

The role requires deep SF P&R expertise, experience across HR systems, and strong Agile/DevOps capabilities.

Qualifications

• Extensive SuccessFactors Performance & Reward expertise.
• 8+ years hands-on configuration experience in SF.
• Broad knowledge of HR modules (Talent, Time, Benefits, Learning, Recruitment).
• SAP HR/HCM experience in banking/FS is a plus.
• CSM/CSPO certifications desirable.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist

In This Role, You Will

• Lead HR technology delivery as a Consultant Specialist, focusing on SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management and Reward, and connected HR modules.
• Translate business needs into system requirements, epics, and user stories to support elaboration, definition, and delivery.
• Partner with BAs/SAs, HR Global Service Owners, and global teams to define, prioritise, and deliver enhancements.
• Act as SME for Performance & Reward, driving innovation, assessing change impacts, and shaping a backlog aligned to employee experience and priorities.
• Produce and govern solution artefacts across the full SDLC, ensuring quality, controls, and adherence to IT policies/procedures and compliance standards.
• Guide testing streams, functional scenarios, and QA tollgates to ensure robust, controlled releases.
• Own technical oversight for the platform (architecture, risks, vendors, performance, support, upgrades, and maintenance).
• Deliver half-yearly upgrades, annual maintenance and Reward cycles (planning, launch, reporting, reconciliation, payroll transmission), and support incident/problem/new demand.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Deep SuccessFactors Performance & Reward expertise (Employee Central exposure preferred) and broad knowledge across HR systems (e.g., Talent, Time, Benefits, Learning, Recruitment).
• SuccessFactors P&R certification or 8+ years’ hands‑on configuration or Experience supporting at least 2–3 full Performance Management and Reward pay cycles end‑to‑end on SuccessFactors; SAP HR/HCM experience in banking/FS is an advantage.
• Proven experience delivering solutions in complex global organisations, including discovery/scoping/definition with HR and Global Service Owners.
• Strong Agile/DevOps and product/platform management capability; pod leadership, Scrum certification (CSM/CSPO) are desirable.
• SaaS/vendor management experience (release, roadmap, upgrades) and disciplined delivery of cyclical HR processes.
• Self‑starter with a continuous improvement mindset; experience with proofs of concept and innovation initiatives is valued.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and collaboration skills; able to explain complex concepts to varied audiences.
• Desirable technical extras: Jira/Confluence, XML (incl. troubleshooting), automation tools (e.g., Codebot/Tosca), AI/ML-enabled analytics/automation, advanced reporting/reconciliation.
