Job summary

Infosys Ltd. in India is seeking an experienced Solution Manager to join the consulting team in Bengaluru and other open locations. The role focuses on configuring SAP Solution Manager roadmaps, monitoring, and ensuring successful post-release support.

You will lead CHARM implementations, coordinate upgrades, and drive proactive problem resolution for production environments while collaborating with clients to deliver robust digital transformation outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in SAP Solution Manager configuration and road maps.
• Strong problem solving and client-facing skills.
• Ability to plan releases and CAB facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Implement CHARM and monitor related artifacts and jobs.
• Configure Solution Manager roadmaps and perform system prep.

• System Preparation, Managed system configuration, Technical monitoring and business process monitoring

• Wily Introscope installation
• Configuration of SAP Alerting and Monitoring in Solution Manager 7.2
• Upgrade Solution Manager from SP09 to SP12
• Resolving production issues in Solution Documentation, Test Suite and BPCA
• Preparation of release calendar for the upcoming years and Facilitate CAB meeting to approve the Change requests for production Post-Release
• Check and resolve the dependency on each CHARM document Monitoring and Troubleshooting background jobs
• Deploying approved transports request into production by weekly and monthly release window
• Prepare User guides and manual

A day in the life of an Infoscion

• As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to get to the heart of customer issues, diagnose problem areas, design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment resulting in client delight.
• You will develop a proposal by owning parts of the proposal document and by giving inputs in solution design based on areas of expertise.
• You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design
• You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organization’s financial guidelines
• Actively lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers.
