Job summary

Kairostoc Consulting is seeking a Senior Consultant with SAP MDG expertise to drive delivery and growth in the retail sector. You will work directly with clients, shape solution design, and support pre-sales activities to expand our global market presence.

The role requires hands-on design, testing, and governance of master data solutions, plus the ability to mentor junior consultants and collaborate with product and engineering teams for issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years in the SAP retail functional area.
• Experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) or related MDMS is advantageous.
• Strong data governance knowledge and SAP landscape integration.
• Experience balancing business development with delivery responsibilities in client projects.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

This role combines pre-sales support responsibilities with hands-on expertise in the design, testing, and support of the client solution, with a focus on master data governance (MDG). The Senior Consultant will be client-facing, technically proficient, and able to contribute to both solution delivery and the expansion of our presence in the global market.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

• Lead retail projects for implementation
• Build and maintain strong relationships with SAP customers, partners, and prospects.
• Support pre-sales activities, including demos, proof of concepts, and solution presentations.

Solution Design & Testing

• Lead the design, configuration, and testing of the client solution for enterprise clients, especially in the retail space.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Ensure solutions adhere to best practices in master data governance.

Issue Resolution & Support

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the design, implementation, and performance of the client solution.
• Provide timely support and guidance to clients post-implementation.
• Collaborate with internal product and engineering teams to expedite and resolve complex issues.

Documentation & Delivery Process

• Develop and maintain high-quality documentation of solution designs, configurations, testing, and support processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery methodologies and governance frameworks.
• Share knowledge and mentor junior consultants as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience (3 years +) in the SAP retail functional area is a must.
• Experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) or related master data management solutions, would be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, workflows, and integration within SAP landscapes.
• Experience in client-facing roles with a balance of business development and delivery responsibilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
