Job summary

EY is seeking a QA Automation Engineer in India with 5–7 years of software testing and automation experience. You will design and maintain automation frameworks across diverse EY projects, ensuring robust delivery and quality.

You will work with Tosca, Panaya, UFT, Selenium and Playwright, coding in Java or Python, and contribute to CI/CD and Agile practices within EY's inclusive culture.

Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing and maintaining automation frameworks and hands‑on experience with both commercial and open‑source test automation tools.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Strong experience in automation framework development and maintenance.
• Hands‑on experience with commercial tools such as Tosca, Panaya, and UFT.
• Experience with open‑source automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or any other programming language.
• Good understanding of STLC, SDLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience in functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing.

Good to Have

• Experience in SAP testing (ECC, S/4HANA, Fiori, etc.).
• Exposure to SAP automation solutions and enterprise application testing.

The candidate should possess strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, be capable of working independently, and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality software delivery.
