Job summary

EY is seeking a QA Automation Engineer with 5–7 years of software testing and automation experience for its Global Delivery Services in India. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining robust automation frameworks and test suites across multiple tools, including Tosca, Panaya, UFT, Selenium and Playwright.

The candidate will work with Java or Python and have strong knowledge of STLC, SDLC, Agile, and CI/CD practices to drive end-to-end testing and quality improvements in a

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automation frameworks and tests.

Global Delivery Services refers to EYs worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing and maintaining automation frameworks and hands‑on experience with both commercial and open-source test automation tools.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Strong experience in automation framework development and maintenance.
• Hands‑on experience with commercial tools such as Tosca, Panaya, and UFT.
• Experience with open‑source automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or any other programming language.
• Good understanding of STLC, SDLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience in functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing.

Good to Have:

• Experience in SAP testing (ECC, S/4HANA, Fiori, etc.).
• Exposure to SAP automation solutions and enterprise application testing.
