Job summary

SELECCION is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition - OTC EDI Consultant to lead the end-to-end design, implementation, and optimization of Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes and B2B integration architectures.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between core SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) functionality and electronic data interchange (EDI) systems, leading workshops, configuring S/4HANA Sales, and ensuring seamless communication with trading partners and internal landscapes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years SAP SD/OTC implementation experience with at least 2 full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• In-depth knowledge of Sales Orders, Deliveries, Billing, intercompany processes, and STO.
• Extensive expertise in IDoc/EDI interfaces, mapping rules, and error handling.
• Familiarity with S/4HANA Private Cloud Extensibility and SAP BTP.
• Strong cross-module integration with MM, PP, FI/CO, EWM, and TM.
• Ability to debug ABAP for root-cause analysis of interface issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead OTC design and S/4HANA configuration for SD/OTC processes.
• Design, implement, and maintain B2B/EDI interfaces using IDocs, ALE, RFCs, and APIs.
• Prepare Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) for WRICEF developments.
• Lead testing (UT/SIT/UAT), cutover planning, and hypercare support.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition - OTC EDI Consultant to lead the end-to-end design, implementation, and optimization of Order-to-Cash (OTC) business processes and B2B integration architectures.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between core SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) functionality and electronic data interchange (EDI) systems. You will lead Fit-to-Standard / Design workshops, configure S/4HANA Sales, design complex IDoc/ALE and EDI interfaces, and ensure seamless communication across trading partners, 3PL providers, and internal application landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

1. OTC Design & S/4HANA Configuration

• Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops and design sessions for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition (OTC stream).
• Configure core S/4HANA Sales and Distribution (SD) processes, including Sales Order Management, Deliveries, Invoicing, Pricing Condition Technique, Advanced ATP (aATP), and Credit Management.
• Map global business requirements to SAP Best Practices scope items while identifying necessary extensions or modifications.

2. EDI & Integration Management

• Design, implement, and maintain B2B/EDI interfaces using IDocs, ALE, RFCs, and API/OData integrations via SAP Integration Suite (CPI) or middleware platforms (e.g., Seeburger, Sterling, Boomi).
• Manage standard B2B transaction sets, including:
• 855 / ORDRSP (Purchase Order Acknowledgment)
• 856 / DESADV (Advance Shipping Notice / ASN)
• 810 / INVOIC (Customer Billing / Invoice)
• 860 / ORDCHG (Purchase Order Change Requests)
• Define and configure output determinations, condition records, and partner profiles (WE20, WE21, BD64).

3. Functional Specifications & Custom Development (WRICEF)

• Author detailed Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) for custom ABAP developments, user exits, BADIs, pricing routines, and enhancement frameworks.
• Perform ABAP debugging to perform root cause analysis on IDoc processing failures, data mapping mismatches, and syntax errors.

4. Testing, Cutover & Support

• Lead Unit Testing (UT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for OTC and EDI integration scenarios.
• Coordinate cutover execution, IDoc partner enablement, legacy data migration, and hypercare post-go-live support.

Required Qualifications & Technical Skills

• Experience: 8+ years of SAP SD/OTC implementation experience with at least 2 full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations (preferably Private Cloud Edition).
• Core OTC Mastery: In-depth technical and functional understanding of Sales Orders, Deliveries, Billing, Intercompany Sales, Advanced Intercompany, Third-Party Processing, and Stock Transfer Orders (STO).
• EDI/IDoc Technical Expertise: Extensive expertise in IDoc message types, segment structures, mapping rules, status codes, and error-handling techniques.
• Cloud & Extension Knowledge: Familiarity with Extensibility concepts in S/4HANA Private Cloud (In-App Extensibility, Side-by-Side Extensibility via SAP BTP).
• Cross-Module Integration: Strong understanding of OTC integration touchpoints with MM, PP, FI/CO, EWM, and TM.
• Debugging Capability: Ability to debug ABAP code to isolate root causes in pricing procedures, exit routines, or interface payload logic.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• SAP Certification: SAP Certified Associate / Professional in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, Sales.
• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) / SAP Integration Suite (CPI) for modern API-first B2B integrations.
