Job summary

Zensar Technologies in Hyderabad seeks a seasoned Order-to-Cash Architect to own end-to-end solution design across the OTC value stream (SAP SD / S/4HANA Sales) for global programs spanning US and EU geographies.

The ideal candidate has led multiple full-cycle SAP implementations and can ensure localization, tax compliance, and architecture integrity across multi-country templates.

Qualifications

• 12+ years SAP SD/OTC experience with 3–4 full lifecycle implementations as architect or lead.
• Experience delivering OTC solutions for US and EU with VAT/Intrastat/e-invoicing requirements.
• Hands-on SAP SD configuration: pricing, credit management, ATP, billing, revenue recognition, output determination.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end OTC solution architecture across SAP ECC/S/4HANA SD.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and blueprint workshops with US/EU stakeholders.
• Define and govern integration between SD and FI/CRM/EDI/CPQ/tax engines; ensure localization.
• Drive global template design and country-specific localization for multi-country rollouts.
• Review functional specs, WRICEF objects, and custom developments for architecture consistency.
• Lead architecture review boards and resolve cross-module conflicts.
• Provide lifecycle leadership from blueprint to hypercare for large SAP programs.
• Mentor OTC consultants and act as escalation point for complex issues.
• Partner with client stakeholders and cross-functional architects to ensure integrated end-to-end solutions.

Job description

We are looking for a seasoned Order-to-Cash (OTC) Architect to own end-to-end solution design across the OTC value stream (SAP SD / S/4HANA Sales) for global programs spanning US and EU geographies. The ideal candidate has led multiple full-cycle SAP implementations and rollouts, is comfortable architecting solutions that satisfy both US and EU regulatory, tax, and localization requirements, and can act as the single point of accountability for OTC design decisions across a multi-country template.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end OTC solution architecture — order management, pricing, credit management, delivery, billing, revenue recognition, and output management — within SAP ECC / S/4HANA Sales (SD).
• Lead requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and blueprint design workshops with US and EU business stakeholders, ensuring the global template accommodates local statutory and tax nuances (e.g., US sales/use tax via Vertex/Avalara, EU VAT and Intrastat reporting).
• Define and govern integration design between SD and adjacent modules (FI, CRM, LE/WM, EWM) as well as third-party systems (tax engines, EDI/B2B gateways, CPQ, and e-invoicing platforms for EU mandates).
• Drive global template design and country-specific localization strategy for multi-country, multi-currency rollouts across North America and Europe.
• Review and approve functional specifications, WRICEF objects, and custom developments to ensure architectural consistency and reusability.
• Lead design authority / architecture review boards, resolve cross-module design conflicts, and ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards.
• Provide leadership across the full project lifecycle — blueprint, realization, testing (SIT/UAT), cutover planning, and hypercare — for large-scale, multi-country SAP programs.
• Mentor OTC functional consultants and act as the escalation point for complex OTC design issues.
• Partner with client stakeholders, program managers, and cross-functional architects (SCM, RTR, technical) to ensure an integrated end-to-end solution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 12+ years of SAP SD / Order-to-Cash experience, including at least 3-4 full lifecycle implementations as a solution architect or lead.
• Proven experience delivering OTC solutions for both US and EU business units, with working knowledge of US tax jurisdictions and EU VAT / Intrastat / e-invoicing requirements.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP SD configuration: pricing procedures, credit management, availability check (ATP), billing plans, revenue recognition, and output determination.
• Experience with S/4HANA Sales, Fiori apps for OTC, and at least one greenfield or brownfield S/4HANA conversion project.
• Demonstrated experience integrating SD with FI, tax engines (Vertex/Avalara/OneSource), EDI/IDoc, and CRM/CPQ platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills; experience leading workshops with global business and IT teams.
• Solid understanding of global template design, rollout methodology, and localization strategy.

Preferred / Good to Have:

• SAP S/4HANA certification in Sales / OTC.
• Experience with SAP BRIM / Convergent Invoicing for subscription or usage-based billing.
• Exposure to SAP Group Reporting or Central Finance in an integrated landscape.
• Prior experience in a consulting or systems integrator environment delivering to Fortune 500 clients.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (MBA or equivalent is a plus).
