Johnson Controls, Inc. in Pune, India invites an SAP SD Data Migration Functional Consultant with 3–6 years of experience to join our S/4HANA migration initiatives. You will drive data migration activities across OTC, master and transactional SD data objects, and collaborate with business and technical teams.

You should be proficient with LTMC and LSMW tools, Excel data cleansing, and have a strong understanding of OTC processes and data quality governance. SAP SD certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of SAP SD data migration experience.
• Functional expertise in OTC processes and SD data structures.
• Hands-on migration of SD data objects (customer master, CMIR, etc.)
• Familiarity with data templates, mapping and load strategies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, map, cleanse, and migrate SD data for S/4HANA projects.
• Perform end-to-end data extraction, transformation, load and validation.
• Collaborate with business users to gather data requirements and validate migrated data.
• Prepare functional specs for data migration and coordinate with technical teams.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled SAP SD Data Migration Functional Consultant with 3–6 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), specifically in data migration activities. The ideal candidate will have sound functional expertise in OTC processes and hands‑on experience in migrating key SD data objects using standard SAP tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as a functional consultant in SAP SD data migration projects.
• Analyze, map, cleanse, and migrate SD data as part of S/4HANA implementation or rollout projects.
• Perform end‑to‑end migration activities including data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading.
• Handle migration of key OTC data objects such as:
  • Customer Master Data
  • Customer Material Info Records (CMIR)
  • Customer Credit Limits
  • Listing and Exclusion data
  • Sales Orders
  • Return / RMA Orders
• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather data requirements and validate migrated data.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and adherence to business rules.
• Support data reconciliation, testing (unit/UAT), and post-load validation activities.
• Prepare functional specifications for data migration and coordinate with technical teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data‑related issues during migration cycles.

Required Skills & Experience

Functional Expertise

• Strong knowledge of SAP SD processes (Order-to-Cash – OTC).
• Solid understanding of master and transactional data structures in SD.

Data Migration Experience

• Hands‑on experience in migrating SD data objects.
• Good understanding of data migration lifecycle (Extract → Transform → Load → Validate).

Tools Knowledge

• Experience with SAP migration tools:
  • LTMC (Legacy Transfer Migration Cockpit)
  • LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench)
• Knowledge of data templates, mapping, and load strategies.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data cleansing, validation, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).
• Basic understanding of data structures and tables in SAP.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in team environments.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on data accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Experience in S/4HANA migration projects.

Education

• SAP certification in SD (preferred but not mandatory).
