Responsibilities

• Gather requirements with stakeholders for SD processes in apparel/footwear.
• Translate business needs into SAP SD technical specs for AFS/FMS.
• Design and implement SAP SD solutions; customize order processing, pricing, billing and shipping.
• Configure SAP SD modules to support order-to-cash within AFS/FMS; develop enhancements as needed.
• Identify opportunities to streamline sales and distribution processes and reduce costs.
• Manage master data for customers, materials, and pricing; ensure data integrity.

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant with specialized knowledge in Apparel and Footwear Solutions (AFS) or Fashion Management Solution (FMS). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in configuring and implementing SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) modules within the AFS/FMS context. This role involves optimizing sales and distribution processes, ensuring seamless integration, and enhancing overall system performance to meet business needs in the apparel and footwear industry.

Role and Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements for SD processes specific to the apparel and footwear industry.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for SAP SD solutions within AFS/FMS.

Solution Design

• Design and implement SAP SD solutions to meet business needs while adhering to best practices.
• Customize functionalities related to order processing, pricing, billing, and shipping.

Configuration and Customization

• Configure SAP SD modules to support various processes, including sales order processing, pricing, billing, and shipping within the AFS/FMS framework.
• Develop custom enhancements and integrations as needed to extend the functionality of these modules.

Process Optimization

• Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize sales and distribution processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Implement solutions to enhance order accuracy, optimize pricing strategies, and improve delivery timelines.

Data Management

• Manage master data for customers, materials, and pricing, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of sales and distribution data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

User Support

• Provide technical support for SAP SD users, including troubleshooting issues and resolving data discrepancies.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure effective utilization of SAP SD functionalities.

Documentation

• Document configurations, customizations, and processes to facilitate knowledge transfer and ongoing support.
• Maintain detailed records of sales and distribution activities and transactions within the system.

Integration

• Integrate SAP SD with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP FICO) and external systems within the AFS/FMS framework.
• Ensure seamless data flow and process integration across different functions and departments.

Performance Monitoring

• Monitor the performance of SAP SD solutions to ensure they meet business requirements.
• Implement enhancements and updates as needed to maintain optimal performance and compliance.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated with the latest SAP SD features, updates, and best practices.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system functionality and user experience.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as an SAP consultant with a focus on SD.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with AFS (Apparel and Footwear Solutions) or FMS (Fashion Management Solution).
• Proven experience with configuring and customizing SAP SD modules.
• Experience in data mapping, gap analysis, and process optimization.
• Proficient in functional testing and integration testing.
• Ability to configure and support SAP SD modules within the AFS/FMS context.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant SAP certifications are a plus.
