Job summary

Magellanic Cloud is seeking an SAP PS Consultant with 6–12 years of experience for a hybrid role in Bengaluru. The candidate will drive end-to-end SAP PS implementations, including project definitions, WBS structures, networks, and milestone planning, with strong integration to FI/CO, MM, SD, PP and Asset Accounting.

The role requires hands-on S/4HANA PS configuration, budgeting, cost tracking, settlement, and post-go-live support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP PS experience with hands-on S/4HANA projects.
• Experience in end-to-end S/4HANA PS implementation including mapping, config, testing and go-live.

Responsibilities

• Configure SAP PS structures: WBS, networks, activities, milestones and project profiles.
• Integrate SAP PS with FI/CO, MM, SD, PP and Asset Accounting.
• Lead budgeting, cost planning, availability control and project settlement.

Role: SAP PS Consultant

Experience: 6-12 Years

Role & responsibilities:

• 5+ years of experience in SAP PS (Project System) with hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation and support.


• Experience in end-to-end S/4HANA PS implementation, including requirement gathering, business process mapping, configuration, testing, cutover, and go-live support.


• Strong knowledge of Project Definitions, WBS Elements, Networks, Activities, Milestones, and Project Profiles.


• Hands-on experience in configuring Project Structures, WBS, Network Activities, Scheduling, and Project Planning.


• Experience in cost planning, budgeting, availability control, commitments, actual cost tracking, and project settlement.


• Strong understanding of Project Costing, Revenue Planning, Results Analysis, and Settlement processes.


• Hands-on experience integrating SAP PS with FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, and Asset Accounting.


• Experience in S/4HANA Project System and Fiori applications for project planning, monitoring, and reporting.


• Knowledge of Project Stock, Procurement, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipts, and Invoice Verification related to projects.


• Experience with milestone billing, sales orders, customer projects, and project-related revenue processes.


• Hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, project reporting, and variance analysis.


• Experience in data migration, cutover activities, mock runs, and post-go-live stabilization during S/4HANA implementations.


• Experience in preparing business requirement documents, functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, and user manuals.


• Strong experience in unit testing, integration testing, UAT, defect resolution, and production support.


• Good understanding of SAP Activate methodology, fit-gap analysis, workshops, and implementation lifecycle.


• Experience working with business users and technical teams to identify requirements and deliver effective SAP S/4HANA PS solutions.


• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
