Job summary

Shashwath Solution is seeking an experienced SAP PS Consultant in India to design, configure, and support SAP Project System modules within S/4HANA. The candidate will lead two full S/4HANA project cycles, align PS with FI/CO/MM/SD, and drive process improvements across project planning, budgeting, and execution.

The role requires strong communication, client-facing skills, and the ability to work across cross-functional teams in multiple cities. A Bachelor's degree is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 9-12 years of experience in SAP PS with 2+ full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong understanding of PS processes: planning, budgeting, execution and controlling.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP PS module implementations within S/4HANA environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate to SAP PS solutions.
• Configure WBS, Networks, Activities, Milestones, budgeting and cost/revenue tracking.
• Perform testing including UAT and provide post-implementation support.
• Deliver training and user documentation; ensure clean integration with FI/CO/MM/SD.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled SAP PS Consultant with hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA and a proven track record of at least 2 full-cycle implementations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting SAP Project System (PS) modules to streamline and optimize project management processes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute SAP PS module implementation activities within S/4HANA environment.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP PS solutions.
• Design and configure SAP PS functionalities including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Networks, Activities, Milestones, Project Planning, Budgeting, and Cost/Revenue tracking.
• Perform system testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing.
• Provide post-implementation support and resolve issues related to SAP PS.
• Conduct training sessions and create user documentation.
• Work closely with other SAP modules like FI, CO, MM, and SD to ensure seamless integration.
• Participate in workshops, requirement analysis, and prepare functional specifications.
• Support data migration and system upgrade activities related to SAP PS.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP S/4HANA innovations and recommend best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 9-12 years of experience in SAP Project System (PS) module.
• Hands-on experience in at least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong understanding of Project System business processes (project planning, budgeting, execution, and controlling).
• Knowledge of integration points between SAP PS and other modules (FI, CO, MM, SD).
• Proficiency in configuring SAP PS components within S/4HANA.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• SAP Certified Application Associate Project System with SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with SAP Activate methodology and Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps related to Project System.
• Exposure to SAP Solution Manager for project tracking and documentation.
