The ideal candidate has 10+ years of SAP project management experience, proven leadership, and a track record delivering at least one domestic SAP project in India. Willingness to travel across India is required.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager with 10+ years of overall experience and strong expertise in managing end-to-end SAP projects. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in at least one domestic project within India.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.
• Manage multiple SAP projects/workstreams, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality expectations.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, SAP functional/technical teams, vendors, and senior management.
• Monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests, and drive timely resolution.
• Ensure effective project governance, reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
• Manage project budgets, resources, timelines, and deliverables.
• Conduct regular project reviews and provide status updates to leadership.
• Ensure adherence to organizational project management methodologies and SAP best practices.
• Lead geographically distributed teams and coordinate with onsite/offshore resources.
• Travel within India based on project/business requirements.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in SAP project management.
• Proven experience managing multiple SAP projects simultaneously.
• Must have successfully delivered at least one domestic SAP project in India.
• Strong understanding of SAP implementation/rollout/upgrade project lifecycles.
• Experience in stakeholder management and working with cross-functional teams.
• Strong project planning, risk management, budgeting, and governance skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with onsite/offshore delivery models is preferred.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel within India as required by the project.

Preferred Certifications

• PMP / PRINCE2 certification preferred.
• SAP Activate certification or relevant SAP project management certification is an advantage.

• Travel: Candidate should be flexible and willing to travel across India for client/project requirements.
