Job summary

Capgemini in Bengaluru is seeking an SAP PPQM specialist to lead and support production planning and quality management solutions across manufacturing environments.

The role requires deep expertise in PP and QM modules, integration with MM, SD, PM, EWM/WM, and MES, along with end-to-end implementation and hypercare experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive workshops, testing, and training.

Qualifications

• SAP PP/QM expert: Production Planning, MRP, Demand Management, Production Orders.
• Integration: PPQM with MM, SD, PM, EWM/WM, Purchasing, Inventory, MES.
• End-to-end SAP implementations, rollouts, support, enhancements, testing, cutover, hypercare.
• Business process knowledge: manufacturing operations, production processes, quality assurance, SCM.
• Documentation & communication: functional specs, process mapping, stakeholder mgmt, training.
• Preferred: SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, SAP Best Practices, Agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP PP/QM implementations across manufacturing environments.
• Analyze business requirements and translate into functional specs and best practice designs.
• Configure and support PPQM functionalities: planning, MRP, orders, capacity, batch management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver end-to-end integrated solutions.
• Drive requirement workshops, fit-gap analysis, testing, training, cutover and post go-live support.
• Support integration of PPQM with MM, WM/EWM, SD, PM, and MES systems.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and drive process improvements.
• Prepare functional design docs, test scripts, training materials, and knowledge transfer.

Your Role

• Lead and support the implementation, rollout, and enhancement of SAP PP (Production Planning) and QM (Quality Management) solutions across manufacturing environments.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, process designs, and SAP best practice solutions.
• Configure and support key SAP PPQM functionalities including Production Planning, MRP, Production Orders, Capacity Planning, Batch Management, Quality Planning, Quality Inspection, and Quality Notifications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, cross-functional SAP teams, and technical consultants to deliver end-to-end integrated solutions.
• Drive requirement gathering workshops, fit-gap analysis, testing, user training, cutover activities, and post go-live support.
• Support integration of SAP PPQM with other SAP modules such as MM, WM/EWM, SD, PM, and MES systems.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot system issues, and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare functional design documents, test scripts, training materials, and support knowledge transfer activities.

Your Profile

• SAP PP Expertise: Production Planning, MRP, Demand Management, Production Orders, Master Data Management, Capacity Planning, Shop Floor Control.
• SAP QM Expertise: Quality Planning, Inspection Planning, Inspection Lots, Quality Notifications, Quality Certificates, Audit Management, Batch Management.
• Integration Knowledge: Strong understanding of PPQM integration with MM, SD, PM, EWM/WM, Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Manufacturing Execution Systems.
• Implementation Experience: End-to-End SAP Implementations, Rollouts, Support Projects, Enhancements, Testing, Cutover, and Hypercare Support.
• Business Process Knowledge: Manufacturing Operations, Production Processes, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain Management, Process Optimization.
• Documentation & Communication: Functional Specifications, Business Process Mapping,Stakeholder Management, User Training, and Excellent Communication Skills.
• Preferred Skills: Experience in SAP S/4HANA, Fiori Applications, SAP Best Practices, and Agile Delivery Methodologies.
