Job summary

Gyan Dairy in Lucknow, India seeks an SAP MM/PP/QM consultant to analyze legacy systems and map improvements. You will study Materials Master, BOM, Work Centres and Routings, aligning them with business requirements for effective SAP-based solutions.

Responsibilities include supporting day-to-day MM/PP/QM/FICO issues, maintaining QM inspection types and planning, and handling MTS/MTO integrations within a discrete manufacturing setup.

Job description

Role & responsibilities:

• Conducted a detailed study and comparison of the legacy system (Material Master, Bill of Material (BOM), Work Centres and Routings) vis--vis business process requirements for identifying grey areas and mapping solutions for the same
• Provide application support for day-to-day issues of tickets related to MM/PP/QM/SD/FICO Module through the system
• Maintain inspection types in the Quality Management (QM) module, including inspection plans and sampling procedures.
• Work on Make-To-Stock (MTS) and Make-To-Order (MTO) scenarios and their integration with other modules.
• Work on customization settings for PP Master Data, including Bill of Material (BOM), Routings, and Work Centres in a discrete manufacturing environment
• Setting up PP Master Data, Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Bill of Material (BOM), routings, work centres /resources, and planning order management
• Constructed various objects in Production Planning, including formulae, availability checks during order creation & release, standard value keys, scheduling parameters for planned & production orders, production schedulers and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) controllers, order type-dependent parameters, production order confirmation, and scheduling margin key
• Act as a mentor for project-related Knowledge Transfer to the new joiners on the team.
• Prepare detailed documents of As-Is study; develop the detailed To-Be process to suit the clients objectives.
• Provide Production Support, resolving the Incidents related to the Production and quality department, MRP, and interfaces
• Handle customization, configuration, and enhancement-related issues.
• Handle tickets as per established service level agreements (SLA) with the clients.
