SAP PP-QM Consultant

Job summary

UPL in Pune invites an experienced SAP PP-QM consultant to lead end-to-end SAP PP-PI and QM projects in a manufacturing environment. You will gather requirements, design To-Be processes, configure PP-PI/QM, and ensure tight integration with MM, SD, and FI.

You will drive BBP documentation, support three to four full-cycle implementations, perform unit testing, train business users, and resolve issues under SLA while maintaining clear documentation and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Should have experience as an SAP PP & QM Consultant with participation in at least 3 to 4 full-cycle SAP implementations from requirements gathering through go-live and post-production support.
• Basic knowledge of SAP MM, SD, and FI integration with PP-QM processes.
• Familiarity with cross-functional business processes and integration touchpoints across procurement, production, Quality, inventory, and finance functions
• Understand the current (As-Is) business processes and identify relevant business scenarios
• Design the future-state (To-Be) processes and prepare Business Blueprint (BBP) documentation
• Configure SAP PP-PI and QM modules for manufacturing and process industry environments.
• Strong expertise in PP-PI, particularly within continuous process industries
• Hands-on knowledge of MRP, production order execution, batch management, MTS, and MTO business scenarios.
• Good understanding of material master data and its role in PP-QM integration
• Familiarity with end-to-end PP-QM business transactional processes
• Analyze system issues, identify root causes, and implement permanent solutions and workarounds
• Experience in Quality planning, Quality inspection, Quality notifications, and audit management processes and coordinating resolution of Quality issue with the business user.
• Knowledge of CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) processes.
• Ability to independently implement and deliver SAP solutions
• Perform feasibility assessments for service and change requests and execute approved enhancements
• Maintain functional and technical documentation, including knowledge-based articles
• Provide application support in accordance with defined SLA procedures
• Conduct user training sessions and support business users effectively
• Working knowledge of SAP Fiori applications and functionalities
• Execute project activities efficiently and ensure successful delivery
• Good communication and presentation skills
