Job summary

Maitri Global is seeking a SAP PP Consultant to implement and support production planning and manufacturing processes in SAP. You will focus on demand planning, production execution, and optimization of manufacturing operations.

You will collaborate with business users to define and optimize production planning processes, design end-to-end manufacturing solutions, and ensure seamless integration with MM, SD, QM, and PM. Prior experience in AP/PI and two full SAP implementations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP configuration.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing and planning processes.
• Experience with MRP configuration and planning strategies.
• Production order lifecycle understanding.
• Master data (BOM, Work Centers, Routings).
• Understanding of integration with MM, SD, and QM.
• At least two full-cycle SAP implementations.
• S/4HANA PP exposure is preferred.
• Exposure to advanced planning tools (IBP/APO) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP PP processes, including demand management and MRP.
• Manage Production Orders and Process Orders lifecycle.
• Handle BOMs, Work Centers, and Routings; monitor capacity planning.
• Coordinate PP integration with MM, SD, QM, and PM modules.
• Support data migration for PP-related master data.
• Participate in testing cycles and cutover activities.
• Prepare functional specs, design docs, and test cases.

Job Description:

The SAP PP Consultant is responsible for implementing and supporting production planning and manufacturing processes in SAP. The role focuses on demand planning, production execution, and optimization of manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and support SAP PP processes, including:
• Demand Management (PIRs)
• Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
• Production Orders / Process Orders
• Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Work Centers and Routings
• Capacity Planning
• Collaborate with business users to define and optimize production planning processes.
• Design and implement end-to-end manufacturing solutions aligned with business needs.
• Integrate PP with:
• MM (Material availability and procurement)
• SD (Demand from sales orders)
• QM (Quality Management)
• PM (Plant Maintenance)
• Monitor and support MRP runs and production execution.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Participate in:
• Testing cycles (Unit, Integration, UAT)
• Cutover and go-live activities
• Data migration (BOMs, Routings, Master Data)
• Prepare documentation:
• Functional Specifications, Process Flow Documents, Design document and Configuration document.
• Test Cases and Training Materials

Required Skills & Experience:
