Job summary

Tata AutoComp Systems Limited in Pune is seeking an experienced SAP PP Consultant to drive end-to-end SAP projects in auto and ancillary sectors. Responsibilities include process design, blueprinting, testing, data migration and user training for PP modules in S/4HANA/ECC with PP-PI as a plus.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years in manufacturing domains, 3-4 full lifecycle SAP implementations, and strong integration with other modules.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Auto / Auto Ancillary industries.
• 3-4 full lifecycle implementation projects in above industries.
• Experience as SAP PP Consultant in at least one end-to-end implementation, plant roll outs and support.
• Understanding of SAP Repetitive Manufacturing, Discrete Manufacturing, MRP setup in SAP S/4HANA or ECC; PP-PI a plus.
• Understanding of basic PP configuration.
• Business blueprint, gap analysis, end-to-end process design, test scripts, unit & system integration testing, data cut-over, master data migration, end user training, user manuals, config docs.
• Knowledge of SAP Enterprise structure, PP master data and integration with other SAP modules, master data migration.
• Knowledge of integration with other modules.
• Ability to design efficient manufacturing solutions and translate requirements into SAP.
• Hands-on unit testing, SI testing; ABAP debugging is desirable.
• Functional specification documents for developments, BADIs, BAPIs, User Exits, Function Modules.
• Collaboration with Tata AutoComp ERP team.

• Lead blue printing, gap analysis, and process design aligned with business goals.
• Configure PP modules and coordinate data migration, testing, and training.

Role & responsibilities

• 10+ years of experience in Auto / Auto Ancillary, Engineering companies, experience in pharma industry will be an added advantage
• Experience of at least 3-4 full life cycle implementation project in above industries
• Worked as SAP PP Consultant in at least one end to end implementation, Company / Plant roll outs and Support
• Understanding of SAP Repetitive Manufacturing, Discrete Manufacturing, Material Requirement Planning set up & process mapping in SAP S4 HANA or ECC. PP-PI will be added advantage.
• Understanding of basic PP configuration
• Understanding of Business Blue printing, Gaps Analysis, End to end process design, Test script preparation, Unit & System Integration testing, Data Cut-over, Master data migration, End user training, Preparation of User manuals, Configuration document etc.
• Knowledge of SAP Enterprise structure, PP master data & integration with other SAP modules, Master data migration
• Knowledge of integration with other modules
• Ability to design efficient solutions based upon business requirements related to Manufacturing in a most cost effective manner
• Analyze processes, make recommendations for changes to support improvements and translate them into SAP solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
• Hands on experience of Unit testing, System Integration Testing, ABAP Debugging knowledge is desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge of preparation of Functional specification documents for developments, BADIs, BAPIs, User Exits, Function Modules etc.
