Job summary

CRI Pumps is seeking an SAP PP Consultant with 2-4 years of experience to support SAP S/4HANA Production Planning and manufacturing processes. The role involves close collaboration with business users, functional teams, and technical teams to implement, support, and improve SAP PP processes.

You will work on Production Planning, Production Orders, and Shop Floor processes, handling BOMs, work centers, routings, production versions, MRP, and master data.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years SAP PP experience.
• Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA manufacturing processes.
• Strong knowledge of BOM, Routing, Work Center, Production Version, MRP, Production Orders, Capacity Planning.
• Experience with MM and QM integration; basic SD and FI/CO integration.

Job Summary :

We are looking for a SAP PP Consultant with 2-4 years of experience to support SAP S/4HANA Production Planning and manufacturing processes.

The candidate will work closely with business users, functional teams, and technical teams to implement, support, and improve SAP PP processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and configure SAP PP processes in S/4HANA.
• Work on Production Planning, Production Orders, and Shop Floor processes.
• Handle BOM, Work Centers, Routings, Production Versions, and Master Data.
• Support MRP / MRP Live, planning runs, procurement proposals, and exception messages.
• Configure and support:
• Demand Management
• MRP
• Production Orders
• Capacity Planning
• Scheduling
• Goods Issue / Confirmation
• Goods Receipt
• Understand integration with MM, SD, QM and FI/CO.
• Analyse production-related business issues and provide functional solutions.
• Prepare functional specifications for required enhancements and coordinate with ABAP developers.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, and production issue resolution.
• Prepare functional documentation and user training materials.
• Support continuous improvement and process standardisation.

Required Skills

• 23 years of hands-on SAP PP experience.
• Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA manufacturing processes.
• Strong knowledge of:

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to S/4HANA MRP Live.
• Exposure to Fiori apps related to production planning.
• Understanding of SAP APIs/OData and CDS views is an advantage.
• Experience in manufacturing industry is preferred.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• SAP PP certification is an advantage but not mandatory.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working directly with manufacturing users, understanding real business requirements, troubleshooting SAP issues, and converting business requirements into practical SAP solutions.Key expectation: This is not purely a ticket-support role. The candidate should have a good understanding of the end-to-end manufacturing process from demand/MRP through production execution and goods receipt.
