Illumiti Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP PP Consultant to deliver production support for critical manufacturing and planning operations in Hyderabad.

The role emphasizes handling P1/P2 priority incidents with deep SAP PP expertise, strong troubleshooting ability, and adherence to SLA timelines. You will collaborate with business users, cross‑functional teams, and technical staff to maintain stability of production planning, execution, and related integrated processes.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of SAP PP functional consulting/support experience.
• Strong production support experience with P1/P2 incidents.
• Solid knowledge of SAP PP processes (MRP, Production Orders, Planned Orders, BOM, Work Centers, Routings, Capacity Planning).
• Experience with cross‑functional integration with MM, QM, SD, FI/CO and ITIL‑based support.

Responsibilities

• Handle P1 and P2 priority tickets for SAP PP and ensure SLA adherence.
• Analyze production issues, assess business impact, and drive corrective actions.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.
• Coordinate with ABAP, BASIS, MM, QM, SD, PM and integration teams for end‑to‑end resolution.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders during critical incidents and escalations.

SAP PP Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP PP Consultant to provide production support for critical manufacturing and planning operations, with a strong focus on handling P1 and P2 priority incidents. The role requires deep functional expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP), strong troubleshooting capability, and the ability to resolve business-critical issues within SLA timelines.

The consultant will work closely with business users, cross-functional teams, and technical teams to ensure stability and continuity of production planning, execution, and related integrated business processes.

Key Responsibilities

Production Support

• Handle P1 and P2 priority tickets related to SAP PP and ensure timely resolution within defined SLA/KPI targets.
• Analyze production issues, assess business impact, and drive immediate corrective actions.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and recommend preventive solutions.
• Coordinate with ABAP, BASIS, MM, QM, SD, PM, and integration teams for end-to-end issue resolution.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders during critical incident handling and support escalations as needed.

SAP PP Functional Support

• Provide support for core SAP PP processes, including:
• Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
• Production Orders
• Planned Orders
• Demand Management
• Capacity Planning
• Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Work Centers
• Routings
• Production Scheduling
• Backflush and Confirmation processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting production planning and shop floor execution.
• Support master data related to manufacturing processes and planning accuracy.

Required Skills

• 6–8 years of experience in SAP PP functional consulting/support
• Strong experience in production support and handling P1/P2 tickets
• Strong knowledge of SAP PP processes, including:
• MRP
• Production Orders
• Planned Orders
• BOM
• Work Centers
• Routings
• Capacity Planning
• Hands‑on experience in issue analysis, troubleshooting, and functional testing
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and production planning business processes
• Good knowledge of cross‑functional integration with MM, QM, SD, and FI/CO
• Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy

Preferred Skills

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA PP support environment
• Exposure to PP-PI or process manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with Fiori apps related to production planning
• Understanding of batch management and production reporting
• Knowledge of ITIL support processes

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or related discipline
