Job summary

Mergen Corporates is seeking a skilled SAP PP/QM consultant to configure, support and optimize SAP PP and QM modules in our Hyderabad-based team. You will translate business needs into SAP solutions, participate in testing, training, and ensure regulatory compliance in pharmaceutical processes.

The role requires hands-on SAP PP/QM expertise, AMS exposure, and strong collaboration with global teams. Willingness to work in shifts and cross-module integration will be valued.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP and QM.
• 8-12 years of relevant SAP PP/QM experience.
• Strong knowledge of Production Planning and Quality Management processes.
• Experience in SAP AMS / Application Support.
• Strong pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Good understanding of Quality Inspection, Quality Planning, and Quality Control processes.
• Experience in integration with SAP MM, SD, and other relevant modules.
• ServiceNow experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP PP and QM modules based on business requirements.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
• Design and support Production Planning, Quality Management, Quality Inspection, and related processes.
• Provide L2/L3 support for SAP PP/QM issues in an AMS environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, incidents, and service requests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other SAP modules to ensure seamless integration.
• Work closely with business users to understand requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
• Prepare functional specifications and support technical teams where required.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to end users.
• Ensure SAP solutions comply with FDA, GMP, and pharmaceutical industry requirements.
• Participate in incident management, problem management, and change management activities.
• Support release management, enhancements, and continuous process improvements.
• Work closely with global teams and be willing to work in shifts as required.
