Job summary

GyanSys Inc. is seeking a PLM Business Analyst to govern and improve product master data across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and ERP systems.

You will bridge business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure accurate, compliant product information throughout the lifecycle. The role focuses on data governance, standards, and supporting PLM/ERP upgrades, with exposure to MBEs, ECO/MCO processes, and various PLM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a PLM support or engineering services role.
• Proficiency with PLM tools and CAD systems; experience with SAP PLM and ECTR is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary steward for product-related master data, including materials, BOMs, documents, classifications, specifications, and engineering attributes.
• Support PLM and ERP upgrades, implementations, and integrations across global sites.
• Define, document, and maintain master data standards, governance policies, naming conventions, and data ownership models.
• Analyze current PLM workflows and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Lead or support ECO, MCO, and configuration management activities.
• Provide training and support to end-users and act as a liaison between technical teams and business units.
• Participate in standardization of best practices across engineering and product development teams.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy, security, and accessibility throughout the product lifecycle.

Job description

The PLM Business Analyst is responsible for the governance, quality, structure, and lifecycle management of product master data across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and ERP systems. This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure accurate, consistent, and compliant product information throughout the product lifecycle.

The analyst will drive data governance initiatives, establish master data standards, support system integrations, and identify opportunities to improve data quality and business processes. This position plays a key role in enabling digital transformation initiatives, including Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), ERP, Engineering Change Management, and Model-Based Enterprise (MBE) strategies.
