Tekskills in India is seeking an SAP MM Functional Consultant to lead end-to-end MM processes including procurement, inventory, and goods movement. You will also handle LIV, MRP, and master data management, ensuring robust configuration and support across environments.

Candidates should have hands-on SAP MM, interface experience (IDoc/WebMethods), and the ability to write functional specs and coordinate with ABAP teams. Collaboration with PP teams is essential for MM/PP integration.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in SAP MM configuration and support.
• Strong understanding of P2P, Inventory Management, Material Master, Release Strategies, MRP.
• Experience with interfaces (IDoc).
• Good functional knowledge of SAP PP processes.
• Ability to write functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP teams.
• Experience in testing, UAT support, documentation, and training.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP MM implementation, enhancements, and support for MM processes (Procurement, Inventory Management, Goods Movement, LIV, MRP).
• Configure and maintain MM components according to business requirements.
• Analyze and resolve MM-related issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Work with SAP interfaces (IDocs, WebMethods); troubleshoot and reprocess IDocs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP MM with third-party systems (BY).
• Coordinate with SAP PP teams to ensure MM/PP integration (BOM, routing components, reservations).
• Support end-to-end business process mapping across procurement, manufacturing, inventory, and logistics.

SAP MM Functional Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation, enhancements, and support for SAP MM processes including:
  • Procurement (PR/PO)
  • Inventory Management
  • Goods Movement
  • Invoice Verification (LIV)
  • MRP-related MM functions
  • Material Master & Vendor Master
• Configure and maintain MM components according to business requirements.
• Analyze and resolve MM-related issues across development, testing, and production environments.

Interface & Integration Responsibilities

• Work extensively with SAP interfaces, including:
  • IDocs (inbound/outbound)
  • WebMethods
• Troubleshoot failed interface jobs, reprocess IDocs, and coordinate with technical teams to resolve interface-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP MM with third-party systems (BY).

Cross-Functional Skills

• Work closely with SAP PP consultants and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration between MM and PP (BOM, routing components, material staging, reservations, consumption).
• Optional: Collaborate with SAP SD teams to support MMSD touchpoints (shipping, third-party processes, stock transfers).
• Support end-to-end business process mapping across procurement, manufacturing, inventory, and logistics.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• BE/BTech/MBA, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Hands-on experience in SAP MM (configuration + support).
• Strong understanding of P2P, Inventory Management, Material Master, Release Strategies, MRP.
• Demonstrated experience working with interfaces (IDoc).
• Good functional knowledge of SAP PP processes.
• Ability to write functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP teams.
