Job summary

Tekskills in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced SAP MM consultant with hands-on expertise in Material Management and strong experience with interfaces such as IDocs and webMethods. The role emphasizes end-to-end MM processes and integration with manufacturing teams.

You'll work on procurement, inventory management, goods movements, and invoice verification, and collaborate with PP and SD teams to ensure seamless cross-functional operations.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on SAP MM experience and configuration
• Experience with MM interfaces including IDoc and WebMethods
• Ability to map MM processes to PP and other adjacent modules

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP MM implementation, enhancements, and support (Procurement, Inventory Management, Goods Movement, Invoice Verification, MRP MM)
• Configure and maintain MM components per business requirements
• Analyze and resolve MM issues across development, testing, and production environments
• Work with SAP interfaces (IDocs) and WebMethods; troubleshoot and coordinate with technical teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate MM with PP and, if needed, SD; support end-to-end procurement, manufacturing, inventory, and logistics processes

Experienced SAP MM Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Material Management, solid experience working with interfaces (IDoc, middleware platforms like webMethods), and functional understanding of SAP PP. Exposure to SAP SD modules is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP MM Functional Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation, enhancements, and support for SAP MM processes including:
  • Procurement (PR/PO)
  • Inventory Management
  • Goods Movement
  • Invoice Verification (LIV)
  • MRP-related MM functions
  • Material Master & Vendor Master
• Configure and maintain MM components according to business requirements.
• Analyze and resolve MM-related issues across development, testing, and production environments.

Interface & Integration Responsibilities

• Work extensively with SAP interfaces, including:
  • IDocs (inbound/outbound)
  • WebMethods
• Troubleshoot failed interface jobs, reprocess IDocs, and coordinate with technical teams to resolve interface-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP MM with third-party systems (BY).

Cross-Functional Skills

• Work closely with SAP PP consultants and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration between MM and PP (BOM, routing components, material staging, reservations, consumption).
• Optional: Collaborate with SAP SD teams to support MMSD touchpoints (shipping, third-party processes, stock transfers).
• Support end-to-end business process mapping across procurement, manufacturing, inventory, and logistics
