Job summary

Coforge is hiring for a SAP Data Migration specialist in Bengaluru to drive end-to-end data migration projects, including planning, execution, and post go-live support. You will lead cross-functional teams to implement master data strategy, harmonization, and governance across multi-ERP environments.

The role requires 6+ years in SAP Data Migration/MDM, strong data modeling skills, and expertise in SAP tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience in SAP data migration projects including S/4 HANA
• End-to-end project lifecycle from data prep to post go-live support
• Minimum 6 years in SAP Data Migration and/or SAP MDM
• Strong leadership to drive tasks and deliverables with a team
• Deep knowledge of master data elements and business processes
• Ability to design SAP master data strategy, principles, and plan
• Lead data harmonization strategy with coding, standards, and naming conventions
• Coordinate harmonization of Master Data model with client across entities
• Plan data migration across multi-ERP environments
• Define To-be data model and lead analysis for using current data
• Maintain technical docs per standards
• Document roles/responsibilities for conversion and master data support
• Update project work plan and resource estimates for data conversion

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP data migration initiatives and coordinate with cross-functional teams

• Oversee data harmonization efforts across client environments and ERP systems
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and plans

Notice period - Only Immediate to 15days joiner preferred.

Below is the JD ;

• SAP data migration experience preferably with S/4 HANA experience
• Full project life cycle from preparation to post going life support
• Minimum of 6 years of SAP Data Migration and/or SAP MDM experience
• Very strong in leading the tasks & managing the deliverables along with the team.
• Excellent business process knowledge in Master data elements
• Responsible for creating SAP master data strategy, principles and plan
• Lead Data Harmonization strategy: Coding principles, Data standards and Naming conventions
• Leading the harmonization Master Data model Structure together with Client (Customers, Chart of Accounts, Products and subcomponents etc).
• Leading the transactional Data Migration Plan as there are gradual rollouts and releases, with multi-ERP and functional systems working in parallel.
• Define To-be Data Model to fit requirements and lead the analysis activity for how to use the current data in the new data model
• Maintain technical documentation according to standards and guidelines
• Participate in documenting roles and responsibilities for conversion and master data support of the SAP environment
• Participate in updating project work plan and resource estimates for data conversion team
