Job summary

Infosys Ltd. in India is seeking an SAP MDG specialist with 2+ years of experience to design, configure and customize SAP MDG. You will work across Material, Customer, Supplier, and FI MDG objects, engaging in blueprinting, data migration and go-live activities.

The role involves MDG workflow customization, Floor Plan Manager, WBABAP/ABAP development and UI customization, with opportunities to collaborate across multiple client projects and locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with minimum 2 years of experience.
• Must have experience in SAP MDG projects, MDG configurations and customizations including data modeling, UI modeling, process modeling, data replication framework, key mapping, rules and derivations, BRF+.
• Expertise in SAP MDG configurations, replication configurations and MDG workflows and ERP tables.
• Full life cycle implementation experience: blueprinting, fit-gap analysis, configurations, data migrations, cutovers and go-live.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with MDG workflows customization, Floor Plan Manager, WDABAP, BRF+, ABAP development.
• Knowledge of WDABAP framework-based customizations, OOPs in SAP MDG, FPM and UI customizations.
• Collaborate with technical teams to complete SAP MDG implementations for Material, Customer, Supplier and FI objects.

Responsibilities

• As part of Infosys consulting team, aid in problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation and design deployment.
• Explore alternatives to recommended solutions and build POCs.
• Create requirement specs, define to-be processes and detailed functional designs.
• Support configuring solution requirements on products, diagnose issues, and identify solutions.
• Contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives delivering high-quality value to customers.
• Identify business challenges with clients and refine, analyze and structure relevant data.
• Stay updated on latest technologies and trends; collaborate effectively.
• Assess current processes, identify improvements, and suggest technology solutions.

• As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to actively aid the consulting team in different phases of the project including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation and design and deployment


• You will explore the alternatives to the recommended solutions based on research that includes literature surveys, information available in public domains, vendor evaluation information, etc. and build POCs


• You will create requirement specifications from the business needs, define the to-be-processes and detailed functional designs based on requirements.


• You will support configuring solution requirements on the products; understand if any issues, diagnose the root-cause of such issues, seek clarifications, and then identify and shortlist solution alternatives
