PwC Acceleration Center India seeks a SAP MDG & Ariba Functional Consultant - Senior Associate to join our Technology Consulting SAP practice. You will specialize in SAP MDG and Ariba solutions, participate in master data management, and support integrations across MDG, Ariba, and S/4HANA environments.

You will collaborate with global teams, mentor colleagues, and contribute to client-facing engagements, ensuring quality delivery and process improvements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• End-to-end supplier onboarding between Ariba and MDG with master data creation and extension.

• Work on MDG data/process modelling, BRF+ workflows, derivations, UIBB, and Change Requests.
• Participate in S/4HANA implementation, rollout, upgrade and data migration projects.

As a SAP MDG & Ariba Functional Consultant - Senior Associate, you will specialize in utilizing and managing SAP software and solutions within an organization. You will be responsible for tasks such as installation, configuration, administration, development, and support of SAP products and technologies. As a Senior Associate, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and deepening your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality work even when the path forward isn’t clear.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will be part of our Technology Consulting network, specifically within our SAP practice. You will engage in consulting services for a variety of business applications, helping clients optimize operational efficiency. By analyzing client needs, implementing software solutions, and providing training and support, you will enable clients to achieve their strategic objectives. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving, while using a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems.

Responsibilities

End to end supplier on boarding process between Ariba to MDG along with master data creation, extension, Ariba registration process.

Implement, configure, and support SAP MDG for Supplier and Customer master data.

Work on MDG data/process modeling, BRF+, workflows, validations, derivations, UIBB, and Change Requests.

Participate in S/4HANA implementation, rollout, upgrade, and data migration projects.
Support SAP Ariba solutions including SLP, Sourcing, Catalog, Commerce Automation, Contracts, and Procurement.

Manage MDG–Ariba and SAP integrations using CIG, IDocs, ALE, SOA/Web Services, and middleware.

Troubleshoot replication and interface issues and coordinate with technical teams.
Gather business requirements, perform testing, prepare functional specifications, and support UAT/cutover.

Work with global stakeholders and provide functional guidance and mentoring.

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor’s degree
• At least 5 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

Mandatory skill sets:

• Minimum 5+ yearsof hands‑on functional experience inSAP MDG & SAP Ariba.
• Experience in Ariba SLP registration process & vendor onboarding
• Deep functional understanding of both SAP MDG & Ariba process
• MDG‑S / MDG‑BP: Business Partner, Supplier, Vendor Master attributes, CR Types, Replication, extension and CR process views.
• Hands‑on configuration experience with theData Replication Framework (DRF)using IDocs, ALE, and Web Services (SOA).
• Excellent understanding of core S/4HANA master data structures and tables (e.g., LFA1, LFB1, LFM1, BUT0ID & BUT000).
• Proven capability to operate in a hybrid functional capacity, comfortable writing & interacting directly with business stakeholders.

Soft Skills

• Excellent analytical to resolve complex workflow and replication issues.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to explain technical concepts to non‑technical business partners.
• Ability to work independently as a subject matter expert and configuration owner.
