Job summary

ITC Infotech is seeking a SAP CPI / Integration Suite Lead to own end-to-end integration architecture across SAP and non-SAP systems. The role requires hands-on development and leadership across CPI, iFlows, and integration patterns.

The candidate will drive solution design, review code, mentor developers, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable, and performant integrations. Hybrid work mode available across multiple cities.

The role requires a strong combination of technical leadership, integration design, and hands-on development across SAP and non-SAP systems.Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of enterprise integrations using SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration (CPI).
• Understand business requirements and translate them into scalable integration architecture and technical designs.
• Design end-to-end integration solutions involving SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, SAP BTP and third-party applications.
• Develop and maintain CPI integration flows (iFlows) using:
• Groovy scripting
• JavaScript
• Message mappings
• Content Modifier
• Router, Gather, Splitter
• Exception Subprocess
• Value Mapping
• Local Integration Processes
• Work with integration protocols such as REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP, IDoc, RFC, HTTPS, JDBC, AS2 and JMS.
• Design appropriate synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns.
• Define error-handling, retry, monitoring, logging and alerting mechanisms.
• Perform technical analysis and recommend appropriate integration patterns and middleware solutions.
• Review integration designs and code developed by other team members.
• Establish development standards, naming conventions, reusable components and best practices.
• Lead the complete SDLC from requirements gathering and design through development, testing, deployment and hypercare.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with SAP functional teams, business stakeholders, infrastructure teams and external vendors.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to CPI developers.
• Participate in architecture/design review meetings and contribute to integration roadmaps.
• Support CI/CD and automated deployment processes where applicable.
• Ensure integrations meet requirements for security, performance, scalability and maintainability.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite – Cloud Integration.
• Strong understanding of SAP BTP Integration Suite architecture.
• Excellent experience in iFlow design and development.
• Strong Groovy scripting and debugging skills.
• Experience with API Management, preferably SAP API Management.
• Good knowledge of:

• Experience with OAuth 2.0, Basic Authentication, Client Certificate, SSH keys and PGP.

• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and ECC integration scenarios.
• Understanding of integration security and certificates.
• Experience with performance optimization for high-volume integrations.

Leadership & Architecture Skills

• Ability to lead an integration team and distribute development activities.
• Strong experience in solution architecture and technical design.
• Ability to prepare:

• Low-Level/Technical Design (LLD)
• Interface specifications
• Integration architecture diagrams
• Conduct code and design reviews.
• Estimate integration development effort and prepare technical delivery plans.

• Mentor junior and senior CPI developers.

Preferred / Good to Have

• SAP Integration Suite certifications.
• Experience with SAP API Management, Event Mesh and Open Connectors.
• Knowledge of SAP Cloud Connector.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Exposure to SAP Build Process Automation / BTP services.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience leading large-scale SAP transformation or S/4HANA migration projects.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be able to design the integration architecture, independently develop complex CPI iFlows, review other developers' work, troubleshoot production issues, and lead the integration team.
