Job summary

Greytip Software Private Limited is seeking an experienced SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) Consultant to design, develop, and support enterprise integration across SAP and non‑SAP systems. You will work with SAP Integration Suite, adapters, mappings, and scripting to deliver secure, scalable interfaces.

The role requires collaboration with functional and technical teams, ongoing testing, and proactive performance optimization in Cloud and Hybrid/On‑Prem environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite experience with API development.

Responsibilities

• Independently design, develop, configure, and deploy SAP CPI integration flows.
• Build complex scenarios using adapters, mappings, and scripting.
• Develop SAP and non-SAP integrations using SOAP, REST, OData, IDoc, RFC, SFTP, and connectors.
• Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing; troubleshoot interfaces.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to capture requirements.
• Monitor runtimes, process flows, and resolve failures and bottlenecks.
• Enhance interfaces for reliability, maintainability, and performance.
• Create technical design docs, interface specs, deployment guides, and test cases.
• Support deployments across Cloud and Hybrid/On-Prem environments; coordinate with infra teams.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) Consultant to design, develop, and support enterprise integration solutions across SAP and non‑SAP systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience in SAP Integration Suite (CPI), integration design, API development, message mappings, scripting, and cloud integration technologies. The role requires close collaboration with functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high‑performing integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently design, develop, configure, and deploy SAP CPI integration flows based on functional and technical requirements.
• Develop complex integration scenarios using SAP CPI adapters, message mappings, value mappings, XSLT mappings, and Groovy/JavaScript scripting.
• Build and maintain integrations between SAP and non‑SAP applications using SOAP, REST, OData, IDoc, RFC, SFTP, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Salesforce, and other standard connectors.
• Execute unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and troubleshoot integration issues to ensure stable and high‑performing interfaces.
• Collaborate with SAP Functional Consultants, technical teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions.
• Monitor SAP CPI integration runtimes, message processing, and proactively resolve interface failures, exceptions, and performance bottlenecks.
• Enhance and optimize existing integration interfaces to improve reliability, maintainability, and performance.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including Technical Design Documents (TDD), interface specifications, deployment guides, test cases, and operational manuals.
• Support deployments across Cloud and Hybrid/On‑Premise environments and coordinate with infrastructure teams for connectivity, security certificates, and environment setup.
• Ensure compliance with SAP integration best practices, governance standards, security policies, and organizational development guidelines.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (SAP CPI) / SAP Integration Suite.
• Hands‑on experience with SOAP, REST APIs, OData, IDoc, RFC, XML, JSON, and XSLT.
• Experience in developing Groovy Scripts and JavaScript within SAP CPI.
• Strong knowledge of Message Mapping, Value Mapping, Content Modifier, Router, Splitter, Gather, Exception Subprocess, and Process Direct adapters.
• Experience with SAP Cloud Connector, API Management, and Event‑Based Integrations.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, SAP IBP, SAP C4C, or other SAP applications.
• Good understanding of integration monitoring, security certificates, authentication mechanisms (OAuth, Basic, JWT), and error handling.
• Experience with transport management, version control, and deployment processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP Integration Suite API Management.
• Knowledge of BTP (Business Technology Platform).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience integrating SAP with third‑party cloud applications.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• SAP CPI/SAP Integration Suite Certification is an added advantage.
