Job summary

Connexions Data is seeking an experienced SAP BTP Consultant with strong hands-on SAP CPI expertise to design, develop, and support integration solutions across SAP and third-party systems. You will work on integration flows, adapters, and secure connectivity between on-premise and cloud environments.

The role requires 8+ years of SAP experience, CPI/iFlows proficiency, Groovy scripting, and experience with S/4HANA/ECC/SuccessFactors integrations. Office-based, Pan India, 5 days a week.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of APIs, web services, JSON/XML, and authentication mechanisms

Responsibilities

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Consultant with strong hands-on experience in SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) to design, develop, and support integration solutions between SAP and third-party applications.

The consultant will be responsible for developing and maintaining integration flows using SAP BTP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration, configuring connectivity, troubleshooting interfaces, and supporting integration requirements across SAP and non-SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain integration flows using SAP Cloud Integration (CPI).
• Develop end-to-end integrations between SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, and third-party applications.
• Work with standard CPI adapters including OData, REST, SOAP, HTTP, SFTP, IDoc, and JDBC.
• Configure and manage SAP Cloud Connector for secure connectivity between on-premise systems and SAP BTP.
• Develop mappings, transformations, routing, exception handling, and error-handling mechanisms within CPI.
• Develop and maintain Groovy Scripts for complex transformation and integration requirements.
• Configure authentication and security mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, certificates, basic authentication, and security artifacts.
• Monitor integration flows, analyze failures, troubleshoot issues, and provide production support.
• Work with SAP API Management for API exposure, consumption, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Participate in integration design discussions and provide technical solutions based on business requirements.
• Support transport and deployment activities across development, QA, and production environments.
• Collaborate with functional teams, SAP technical teams, and third-party application teams to ensure successful integration delivery.
• Follow integration development standards, best practices, and security guidelines.

Technical Skills

Mandatory

• 9+ years of overall SAP technical experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP BTP Integration Suite / SAP CPI.
• Strong experience in designing and developing CPI iFlows.
• Hands-on experience with OData, REST, SOAP, HTTP, SFTP, IDoc, and JDBC adapters.
• Strong experience in Groovy Scripting for CPI.
• Experience with message mapping, content modifiers, routers, exception handling, and data transformation.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Connector.
• Experience integrating SAP systems such as S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors and third-party applications.
• Good understanding of APIs, web services, JSON, XML, HTTP/HTTPS, and authentication mechanisms.
• Experience in troubleshooting and providing production support for CPI integrations.

Good to Have

• SAP API Management experience.
• Knowledge of SAP Event Mesh.
• Basic understanding of SAP BTP architecture and services.
• Exposure to CAP / SAP BTP application development.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud.
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite Open Connectors.
• Knowledge of IAS / IPS and BTP security.
• Experience with BTP transport and deployment mechanisms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant SAP technical experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP CPI / BTP Integration Suite.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• SAP BTP / Integration Suite certification is an advantage.
