Job summary

Qualifications

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic SAP Hybris Front-End Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing responsive, user-friendly, and performance-optimized front-end solutions for SAP Hybris e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks such as Spartacus, Angular, or React.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement user interfaces for SAP Hybris e-commerce applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Design and build responsive and high-performance front-end solutions that deliver an exceptional user experience.
• Work closely with back-end developers to integrate the front-end with Hybris services, APIs, and business logic.
• Implement modern front-end frameworks and technologies like Spartacus, Angular, or React to enhance functionality and user experience.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure that designs are translated into highly functional front-end code.
• Optimize web pages for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement product features and enhancements.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues, including browser compatibility and performance problems.
• Stay up to date with the latest web technologies, tools, and best practices to continuously improve the development process.
• Collaborate in Agile development cycles, attending sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Experience

• At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in front-end web development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proven experience working with SAP Hybris or other e-commerce platforms is a plus.
• Experience with Spartacus or similar frameworks for building e-commerce solutions with SAP Commerce Cloud.
• Proficiency in front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.

Technical Skills

• Deep knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, including ES6+ syntax and features.
• Experience with CSS preprocessors like Sass or LESS.
• Familiarity with responsive design and creating mobile-first web applications.
• Strong understanding of front-end performance optimization techniques (e.g., lazy loading, bundling, and caching).
• Familiarity with front-end build tools and task runners like Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development environments.
• Experience integrating front-end applications with back-end APIs and web services (RESTful and SOAP).
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks like Jasmine, Karma, or similar is a plus.
