Job summary

OmniReach seeks a Senior SAP Commerce Cloud Backend Developer to own Hybris modules end-to-end and drive design, development, quality, and performance of scalable e-commerce applications. You will own REST/SOAP integrations, OCC services, and secure coding practices in a global project landscape.

The role emphasizes hands-on implementation, API integrations, and collaboration within Agile/DevOps teams to deliver reliable, high-performance commerce solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of enterprise application development experience.
• 3-5+ years hands-on SAP Hybris / SAP Commerce Cloud experience.
• Strong expertise in Hybris modules: Cart & Checkout, OMS, Promotions & Vouchers, Search & Navigation, Account Management, OCC Layer, Backoffice/ ASM, Integrations.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, SAP integrations, and SAP ECC / API integrations.
• CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab) and secure coding practices.
• Performance monitoring with Dynatrace / AppDynamics.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable e-commerce applications using SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) and Java.
• Develop and integrate REST / SOAP APIs, OCC services, and SAP integrations.
• Ensure high standards for code quality, performance, and security.
• Implement secure coding practices using tools like SonarQube / Coverity.
• Troubleshoot performance issues using APM tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics).
• Drive unit testing, automation, and TDD practices.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/DevOps environment.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and production issues.
