Job summary

Overt Minds is looking for an Angular Developer to build scalable storefronts on SAP Spartacus/SAP Commerce Cloud. You will collaborate with backend teams and solution architects to deliver responsive, accessible UIs for enterprise e-commerce platforms.

You will translate design mock-ups into production-ready components, apply NgRx/RxJS for state management, and participate in Agile sprints. 1+ year of Angular experience is required; Spartacus familiarity is a plus and learning mindset is

Job description

We are looking for an Angular Developer to work on SAP Commerce (Hybris) transformation projects, building scalable, modular, and high-performance storefronts using Angular and SAP Spartacus.

You will collaborate closely with backend developers and solution architects to deliver responsive, accessible, and SEO-friendly user experiences for enterprise e-commerce platforms. Knowledge of Spartacus is a strong advantage, but candidates willing to learn are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Angular (v11+) and TypeScript.
• Contribute to SAP Spartacus-based storefronts, extending components and integrating backend APIs.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful OCC APIs from SAP Commerce Cloud.
• Build responsive, accessible, and SEO-optimized UIs following mobile-first and modern UX principles.
• Work with CMS-driven components, routing, lazy loading, and modular Angular/Spartacus architecture.
• Convert design mock-ups (Figma, Sketch) into production-ready UI components.
• Apply state management patterns using NgRx or similar tools and leverage RxJS for side-effects.
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and code quality through unit/e2e testing and peer code reviews.
• Actively participate in Agile teams, collaborating with QA, DevOps, designers, and backend engineers.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in Angular (v11+) (v17 preferred).
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, SCSS, and RxJS.
• Understanding of frontend-backend integration using REST APIs.
• Basic familiarity with SAP Spartacus or strong willingness to learn it.
• Exposure to state management tools such as NgRx or Akita.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong UI/UX development, debugging, and analytical skills.Experience working with Git or other version control systems.
