Job summary

nxzen is seeking an experienced SAP HCM UK Payroll Consultant to join our Bengaluru/Hyderabad team. The role demands hands-on SAP HCM Payroll configuration, understanding UK statutory payroll processes, and delivering production support for UK payroll implementations.

The ideal candidate will have 5–6 years of SAP HCM experience with strong knowledge of UK payroll rules, testing, and payroll reconciliation.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of hands-on SAP HCM experience with UK Payroll.
• Strong knowledge of SAP HCM Payroll configuration and UK legislation.
• Experience configuring Schemas, PCRs and Wage Types.
• Experience with payroll testing, parallel runs and reconciliations.
• Exposure to HR-Payroll integrations with Finance and Time Management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in implementation, enhancement, rollout or production support.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP HCM Payroll (PY), including PA and OM integration.
• Work hands-on with Payroll Schemas, PCRs and Wage Types.
• Support UK payroll requirements, including PAYE, NI, HMRC reporting, RTI, FPS and EPS.
• Handle payroll calculations, retroactive accounting, statutory deductions, absence-related payroll, pensions and off-cycle payroll.
• Troubleshoot complex payroll issues, perform root cause analysis and ensure accurate payroll results.
• Conduct unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, parallel payroll runs and payroll reconciliation.
• Support SAP HCM Payroll implementations, rollouts, enhancements, go-live and post-production activities.
• Work with HR, Finance, technical teams and third-party systems to support payroll integrations and financial postings.
• Provide L2/L3 production support, incident resolution, documentation and continuous process improvement.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP HCM UK Payroll Consultant with strong hands-on experience in SAP HCM Payroll configuration, UK statutory payroll processes, implementation and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP HCM Payroll (PY), including Personnel Administration (PA) and Organizational Management (OM) integration.
• Work hands-on with Payroll Schemas, Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs), Wage Types, Features and Payroll Areas.
• Support UK payroll requirements, including PAYE, National Insurance (NI), HMRC reporting, Real Time Information (RTI), FPS and EPS.
• Handle payroll calculations, retroactive accounting, statutory deductions, absence-related payroll, pensions and off-cycle payroll.
• Troubleshoot complex payroll issues, perform root cause analysis and ensure accurate payroll results.

• Good analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) or Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
• EC-to-ECP integration experience.
• SAP S/4HANA or HCM migration experience.
• Knowledge of UK payroll legislative changes.
• SAP HCM or SuccessFactors certifications.
