Job summary

Fusion Consulting in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced SAP HCM Test Consultant to support SAP HCM implementation and transformation projects within the life sciences industry. You will plan, prepare, execute, and coordinate testing activities across SAP HCM processes in a regulated environment.

The role requires 5+ years in SAP testing with at least 3 years in SAP HCM, hands-on testing of PA, OM, Time Management, Payroll, ESS/MSS, and strong collaboration with functional and technical teams in

• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects with coordination across teams.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP HCM Test Consultant to join our team and support SAP HCM implementation and transformation projects within the life sciences industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, executing, and coordinating testing activities across SAP HCM processes, ensuring high-quality system delivery in a regulated environment.

What You Will Be Doing

• Plan, prepare, and execute functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing for SAP HCM solutions.
• Design, maintain, and execute test cases and test scripts based on business and functional requirements.
• Validate end-to-end SAP HCM processes, including Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management, Payroll, and ESS/MSS.
• Perform integration testing with connected SAP modules and third-party HR systems.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution, working closely with functional consultants and technical teams.
• Support business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide testing guidance.
• Participate in requirements reviews to ensure testability and complete test coverage.
• Prepare test documentation, test evidence, and status reports.
• Contribute to test planning, risk assessments, and release readiness activities.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, validation requirements, and project methodologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SAP testing, including at least 3 years focused on SAP HCM.
• Hands-on experience testing SAP HCM modules such as:
• Personnel Administration (PA)
• Organizational Management (OM)
• Time Management
• Payroll
• Employee Self-Service (ESS) and Manager Self-Service (MSS)
• Strong understanding of end-to-end HR business processes and their integration with Payroll and Time Management.
• Experience with system, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
• Ability to create comprehensive test strategies, test cases, and defect reports.
• Experience using defect and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, SAP Solution Manager, or similar.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments.
