Job summary

Fusion Consulting seeks a Data Developer to design, build, and maintain data pipelines and analytics solutions within the Robotics IS Data Platform. You’ll work with data engineers, architects, and business teams to deliver reliable data delivery across the organization.

You will develop and optimize data warehouses, write complex SQL, and support cloud platforms like Snowflake as part of modernization and analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on data engineering, analytics, warehousing, and ETL/ELT development.
• Advanced SQL skills with data modeling and query optimization.
• Experience with data integration tools like ADF, Qlik Replicate, SSIS; Snowflake experience preferred.

Job Description

Role Purpose

The Data Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data integration, data warehousing, and analytics solutions within the Robotics IS Data Platform. The role enables reliable and scalable access to enterprise data by building efficient data pipelines, optimizing data models, and supporting business intelligence and analytics initiatives. Working closely with data engineers, architects, business stakeholders, and application teams, the Data Developer ensures high-quality data delivery across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration solutions.
• Build and optimize data models, data warehouses, and analytics datasets to support reporting and business intelligence requirements.
• Develop and tune complex SQL queries to ensure efficient and reliable data processing.
• Integrate data from enterprise systems, including SAP S/4HANA and other business applications.
• Support the implementation and operation of cloud-based data platforms, including Snowflake and related technologies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
• Contribute to data quality, governance, documentation, and best practices across the data platform.
• Support modernization initiatives involving advanced analytics, big data, and machine learning use cases.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data analytics, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT development.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, including query optimization and data modeling techniques.
• Experience with modern data integration and extraction tools such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), Qlik Replicate, SSIS, or equivalent technologies.
• Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehousing platforms.
• Proficiency in C#, or a comparable backend programming language, for data integration and service development.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA data extraction and integration concepts or experience working with enterprise ERP systems.
• Understanding of big data, analytics, and machine learning concepts.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Fluent English with a customer-oriented and solution-focused mindset.
