Qualifications

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SAP Finance Functional Analyst based in India.

The SAP Finance Functional Analyst will play a pivotal role in optimizing financial systems and delivering scalable SAP solutions that support complex enterprise finance operations. This position focuses on treasury management, liquidity optimization, financial risk control, and automated payment processing. You will work across specialized SAP modules to improve financial visibility, strengthen reporting accuracy, and streamline integrations with banking partners. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders and IT teams, you will translate financial requirements into effective functional configurations and technical solutions. The role also involves supporting SAP Central Finance implementations and enabling harmonized financial data across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SAP professional to contribute to strategic finance transformation initiatives in a remote, technology-driven environment.

Accountabilities

• Configure, implement, and support SAP Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM), including Business Credit Management (BCM) and Business Asset Management (BAM), to strengthen credit risk assessment, asset tracking, and financial process efficiency.
• Design, maintain, and optimize In-House Cash and In-House Banking solutions to centralize treasury operations, improve liquidity management, and enhance cash flow visibility.
• Manage foreign exchange (FX) rate integrations within the SAP environment, ensuring accurate currency valuation and supporting effective foreign exchange risk management and hedging activities.
• Administer SAP Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) functionalities, including investment tracking, financial risk analysis, and compliance with applicable financial regulations and internal controls.
• Lead or support SAP Central Finance (CFIN) implementation, migration, configuration, and ongoing maintenance to enable real-time financial data consolidation and consistent enterprise-wide reporting.
• Design, configure, and maintain Payment Factory workflows to automate high-volume payment processing, minimize manual intervention, and improve transaction accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot banking integrations and Electronic Bank Statement (EBS) feeds, ensuring reliable data exchange, accurate bank reconciliation, and seamless connectivity with external financial institutions.
• Collaborate with finance teams, treasury specialists, business stakeholders, and IT teams to gather requirements, assess existing processes, and translate business needs into functional specifications and SAP solutions.
• Investigate and resolve functional issues, support system testing and implementation activities, and maintain the stability and performance of SAP finance solutions.
• Identify opportunities to optimize financial workflows, strengthen system integration, improve reporting capabilities, and support ongoing finance transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• At least five years of hands-on experience in SAP Finance solutions, preferably within the IT services industry, with a strong understanding of enterprise financial processes and SAP implementation or support environments.
• Proven functional expertise in SAP Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM), particularly Business Credit Management (BCM) and Business Asset Management (BAM), including configuration and ongoing support.
• In-depth knowledge of In-House Cash, In-House Banking, and Payment Factory architectures, with experience implementing or optimizing centralized treasury and payment processes.
• Strong proficiency in foreign exchange rate integrations and SAP Treasury and Risk Management (TRM), including currency valuation, treasury operations, investment tracking, and financial risk management.
• Demonstrated experience implementing, migrating, configuring, or supporting SAP Central Finance (CFIN), with an understanding of financial data consolidation and cross-system reporting.
• Solid experience configuring banking integrations, managing Electronic Bank Statement (EBS) processing, and troubleshooting interfaces between SAP systems and external financial institutions.
• Ability to gather and analyze complex business requirements, translate them into clear functional specifications, and deliver practical, scalable technical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate system issues, identify root causes, and implement effective resolutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling effective collaboration between finance, treasury, business, and technical teams.
• A structured, detail-oriented approach to configuration, testing, documentation, and financial data accuracy, combined with the ability to manage priorities and deliver results in a remote working environment.
