Job summary

Sopra Steria Group in India seeks an experienced SAP FICO Public Cloud Consultant with 8–10 years of experience to implement, configure, and support SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. You will work closely with clients to understand their financial processes and ensure seamless integration with other SAP Cloud modules.

Must have at least one end‑to‑end implementation in Public Cloud and strong AMS experience.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of SAP FICO experience, preferably with SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong FI and CO processes and configuration knowledge.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud preferred.
• Good understanding of integration with MM, SD and other SAP modules.
• Strong client‑facing, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, and deployment of SAP FICO in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (Finance and Controlling).
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and align solutions with SAP best practices.
• Analyze and optimize GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, and CO processes.
• Ensure cloud integration with other SAP Cloud modules and third‑party apps.
• Support testing, UAT, defect resolution, training, and post‑implementation support.
• Create documentation, functional specs, and knowledge transfer materials.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO Public Cloud Consultant with 8–10 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) solutions in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. You will work closely with clients to understand their financial processes, provide optimized solutions, and ensure seamless integration with other SAP Cloud modules.

Must have experience at least 1 E2E implementation in Public Cloud and Strong AMS experience.

Job Responsibilities

1. Implementation & Configuration: Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP FICO solutions in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, covering Finance and Controlling processes.
2. Client Consultation: Work closely with clients to gather requirements, understand business needs, and provide SAP FICO solutions aligned with standard SAP best practices.
3. Business Process Analysis: Analyze and optimize financial processes including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, and Controlling (CO).
4. Cloud Integration: Ensure effective integration of SAP FICO with other SAP Cloud modules such as SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP PP, and third‑party applications.
5. Testing & Quality Assurance: Support configuration testing, integration testing, UAT, defect resolution, and troubleshooting to ensure successful solution deployment.
6. Training & Support: Provide end‑user training and post‑implementation support, including issue resolution, process guidance, and continuous improvement.
7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance and optimize SAP FICO processes using SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud capabilities and standard best practices.
8. Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Create and maintain functional specifications, configuration documentation, process flows, test scripts, and knowledge‑transfer materials.
9. Collaboration: Work closely with SAP functional consultants, technical teams, business stakeholders, and project teams to deliver integrated solutions within agreed timelines.
10. Project Management Support: Assist project managers with defining scope, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and risks related to SAP FICO implementations in a cloud environment.

Required Skills

1. 8–10 years of SAP FICO experience, preferably with SAP S/4HANA.
2. Strong experience in SAP FI and CO processes and configuration.
3. Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is preferred.
4. Good understanding of integration with MM, SD, and other SAP modules.
5. Strong knowledge of financial accounting and controlling business processes.
6. Experience in requirement gathering, testing, UAT, documentation, and production support.
7. Strong client‑facing, analytical, and communication skills.

Total Experience Expected: 08-10 years
