Job summary

Infocus Technologies Pvt ltd is seeking a functional consultant within the SAP FICO domain to support business users and incidents in Bengaluru. The role emphasizes integration with S4Hana Finance, TRM, FSCM and RAR, with emphasis on accounts payable, accounts receivable, GL and related sub modules.

The candidate should have 4–6 years IT experience in SAP FICO and a accounting background, with hands-on configuration, testing and end-to-end project exposure.

Qualifications

• B.Com or M.Com completed.
• 4–6 years IT experience in SAP FICO, S4Hana Finance, TRM, FSCM & RAR modules.
• 2+ years domain experience in accounting.
• Hands-on experience configuring FICO/S4Hana Finance modules.
• Worked on FICO/S4Hana sub modules: AP, AR, GL, Asset Mgmt, CCA, PCA and integrations with non-FI modules.
• Good understanding of MM and SD integration.
• Knowledge of EDI/IDocs and BP profiles.
• Experience in FSCM: Credit, Collection & Dispute Management and TRM.
• Experience in writing functional specs, test scenarios, end-to-end testing.
• Experience gathering requirements, SAP configurations, development specs, transports to production and post go-live support.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Implementation, Upgrade and Support projects.
• Accounting background is must; good process knowledge preferred.

Job description

To take the functional consultant role within the application support team for SAP FICO.

Mandatory Requirements

• Candidate must have completed B.Com or M.com
• Must have experience in atleast 2 Support projects
• Must have RAR experience along with FI experience
• Base location must be Bengaluru
• Candidate must be ready to work in night shift at least 1 week a month.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in assisting business and end users for day-to-day operations primarily in SAP FICO applications through addressing incidents and Customer escalations
• Business process and gap analysis
• Liaising with stakeholders from engineering and other teams
• Quality Assurance & Documentation
• Open and flexible for learning new skills as needed
• Knowledge in Incident management and closing of incidents with proper resolution steps
• Come up with new automation ideas, RCA Fixes, innovations to reduce the toil and improve system and business processes
• Understanding SLAs and fix the issue with good customer experience

Knowledge and Expertise

• At least 4-6 years of IT experience in SAP FICO, S4Hana Finance, TRM, FSCM & RAR modules
• At least 2 years of domain experience in accounting
• In-depth knowledge and Hands-on expertise in configuring FICO/S4Hana Finance modules.
• Should have worked on FICO/S4Hana Finance sub modules like accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank accounting, general ledger accounting, asset management, CCA, PCA, Integration with non fi modules.
• Good understanding of the integration with MM, SD modules.
• Good understanding of EDI/IDocs, process codes, BP profiles, etc
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on on FSCM modules like Credit, Collection & Dispute Management and TRM
• Exposure to RAR and capable of handling RAR issues
• Experienced in writing detailed functional specifications, prepare test scenarios, write test scripts and perform end-to-end testing.
• Experience in gathering business requirements, providing conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing detail specifications for development of custom programs, testing, co-ordination of transports to production and post go live support.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Implementation, Upgrade and Support projects
• Accounting background is must and good process knowledge is highly preferred.

Good to Have

• Exposure to SaaS applications (Concur, workday, HRC, Kyriba etc.,)
• Worked on FICA areas like postings and documents, correspondence, payments and refunds, deferrals, dunning.
• Knowledge of HANA reporting and integration with ECC
• Basic debugging
